100 Excited to have had a chance to check this place out. Inside is basically like you're transported into a classic European pub. Beer list is well-curated--some whalez in the cellar list, but more fun to explore the drafts of the moment and see what the proprietors like (at least for me). Prompt service, terrific food, 6oz or half pints of everything available if you want to tick - just an awesome place and I hope to be back sometime. |
82 Nice cozy brick and wood interior. Small patio in front and a beer garden in the back. The place was quite busy during my visit. Well curated list of 25 taps, plenty of different styles. Unfortunately not so many interesting beers during my visit, but looks way better today. Lots of vintage bottles which are quite pricey. Most of the selection starts at 25-30$ and goes up from there. Very good place, can be excellent depending on your preferences. |
90 Stopped in for lunch on route up north. They are being nice and careful during COVID era. Cool cozy and classy brick decor. Belgian emphasis. Most drafts were Christmas specials plus 10% abv. So nice to find draft list that has this focus versus 1000 ipas. Food was excellent fries were perfect. Huge cellar list of that’s you thing. Wonderful place a top 50 joint that lives up to its ranking. |

80 Visited April 2018. This place has great selection (including a St. Bernardus exclusive), impressive vintage bottle menu, but they pour 16oz mostly,no flights, no half pours. A big no no for tickers or if you are from out of town. |
86 One of my favorite places |
84 About a 20 minute drive east of Atlanta, this place is a gem for the Belgian beer enthusiast. Pay parking out front ($2/hr until 6pm). The interior is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Draught list is well-curated. No flights - if beers come in pints, you can do half-pints; otherwise, you’re stuck with 10 and 13 oz pours, so definitely NOT a ticking spot. Staff will let you sample the beers though. If you come later in the day, you can go up to their beautiful Belgian beer bar with 8 taps. Their cellar is huge, with almost 1000 bottles - lots of lambic, other Belgians and a nice US list. They have a cellar bottle flight of 4 pre-selected beers for $20, but the chosen beers were fairly uninteresting. Extremely friendly and welcoming service. Great place. |
100 Often crowded but for good reason. Cozy and the beer selection is unbelievable. If you ever get an opportunity to see their cellar, do it! You kind of gotta know someone though. It is incredible. Quoted from the pub website - "We believe this to be the largest beer cellar in the United States and one of the largest in the world." |
