Kona Brewing Company - KoKo Marina Pub

Beautiful spot right on the marina, with a very wide view of the water -- real nice. Tons of seating, including plenty of bar seating. The place feels a bit tired, having been here for ~20 years probably without any upgrades/renos. But whatever, it still works. They had well over a dozen taps including some seasonals. Flights of 4 available for about $15, rather steep considering they didn't have any of the more creative styles on. Staff was friendly and quick. If you can get out here, this was a nice stop.

Huge place right on the water, so you can watch the tourists on their bananas. They had five Kona beers I hadn’t had before. Solid, knowledgeable service. Great place.

Quite easy to reach by bus from Waikiki. Nice location by the Koko Marina. Quite large list, flights available. Decent food. Hawaii prices. Friendly service. Absolutely nothing’s wrong with this place... and still I wasn’t impressed. What’s wrong with me?

This place gets an A just for being on the water in hawaii. Great ambience. Friendly people. The food was good. Several unique beers that were only available on tap at the site. I’m sad not to access some of it as there is some tasty rotators. This is a great spot!

Great place to visit while on Oahu. The marina setting and surrounding mountains are very beautiful...especially at sunset and sitting outside...which was when and where for us. I would recommend this place for any visitors looking to get outside Honolulu for lunch or dinner...especially if you don’t want to travel too far...even if they are not craft beer fans. I really liked everything about this place (atmosphere...food...value...service) but one...I’m just not a Kona beer fan. As such, although I ordered flights and sampled everything of theirs...none of their beers really impressed me. The closest to a favorite was Fire Rock Pale Ale...which is what I drank anytime over 2 weeks in Hawaii when I couldn’t get something from the other local beer companies (Maui Brewing, Kauai Beer) or a nice stateside choice. Nonetheless I would return here for certain next time we’re in Hawaii...as I really liked the place itself.

Corporate place at a marina way out in the burbs. Sitting by the water is always nice, but otherwise soulless. The beers were the same as at the Big Island, which probably speaks more about the big island location not doing anything special. I expected HNL to have a smaller list. Anyway, service was fine, caught some sort of happy hour, and Kona usually has some good seasonals.

Located in a civilized marina, with a huge patio seating area right on the calm waters. Totally chill and also the kind of place you can bring the whole family. This is a much nicer place than the flagship pub at the brewery on Big Island. The only drawback is that they don’t have the full array of seasonals. But at least Pipeline Porter was in, and happened to be on special that day, what a great beer--might be best in the state.
