“Long brown cafe near to the station. I got told off the bar lady for selecting from the fridge at the back after visiting the toilet. They have a display of all there beers on the wall. A good selection of Dutch. Least enjoyable of the 7 places I visited in Delft.“

“Industrial looking place overlooking the River Schie with a good selection beers, some are Dutch, although I've seem to have chosen one from Antwerp. Pleasant spot to sit out front to watch people. They are more focused on food.“

“Friendly bar canal side pub which has been around for a long time judging by the polystyrene ceiling tiles. A central bar splits the 2 seating area's, one a traditional brown bar, the other with football scarves hanging from the ceiling & large TV's. Nothing of interest on tap, but a good size Dutch canned selection in the fridge revealed a gem.“

“Decent enough place brewing it's own beers, with reasonable beers to try. The standard in Delft of places to visit is so high that is place a fair way down the list. Friendly service & outside seating.“

“An excellent belgian beer bar on a very popular square, a few streets away from the kerkplein. On a pleasant summer day, great to sit outside, if you can find a seat. The interior is classy brown bar, but at scale. Visited with Errol in 2022.“

“Only 2 regulars out of 20 on tap. The others change regularly: the best reason to visit regularly. The list of tap beers can contain lots of sours, stouts ipa's, blonds, ales and others including specials and aged barrels. Always something special to your taste on tap. The personnel is attentive and enthousiast. Not always knowledgeable but that's ok, because they are very liberal in having you taste a sip. I like to order halve measures, also to have the stouts and porters warm up a bit. Best place for the best beers in Delft! Interior needs a little excitement, plenty of boardgames available (but no Siedler of Catan 😕). The always changing selection of taps is the best reason to chill here.“

“The only brewery in the old town of Delft (De Koperen Kat is located outside the city center), this one was started by a.o. John Brus, one of the co-founders/owners of De Molen in Bodegraven. The brewery itself is really small and within the pub itself. They only brew small batches that go straight onto the taps. The core range is brewed at De Molen. The place hasn't been open for long but is booming: most nights it is filled to capacity. The food is better than the normal grub you get at a beer pub. The service still needs some adjustments, especially outside when it is busy they tend to overlook thirsty guests. The beers are decent (the core range), very nice (the smaller batches) and rare finds in The Netherlands (the guest beers). After Borefts some of the left-overs pop up here... The place is very cosy and a great addition to the already large number of beer bars in Delft.“

“Busy cozy place. 7 tap craft beers. 10 or so bottled beers. Decent prices, I had Lagunitas Citrus inensis for 4 Euros for 25cl. They do food until 10pm“

“Visited September 2019 with beery friends. Nice cosy modern style brewpub. Lots of seatings. Super friendly staff. At our visit they had 10 of their own beers on tap, and they serve them in tasters of 4. For sure a place to be visiting when in Delft.“

“Visited September 2019 with beery friends. Large bar area just inside the door, serving nice beers from tap or bottle.. Beers served in good condition from the smiling staff. Nice and clean. Lots of seatings inside and a few ones outside. Lovely bar placed by the canal... For sure on my visit again list.“

“A lovely old brown café - long and narrow with three very cosy rooms. The lighting is subdued and there are candles and flowers on the tables. Really nice, with delightful and knowledgeable service. There are around seven taps plus a bottle list with some good recommendations. (Visited 24 September 2019).“

“Very Nice place, next to the Old Church. Has both an industrial And a mediëval feel. Friendly And fast service, acceptable prices. Good food and Drinkable own beers, combined with a limited but good choice of guest beers. Flights available. I'll be back.“

“Only opened about 2 weeks ago. No wifi yet. Fast attentive service. 20 taps with about 6 of their own and 14 guest beers. Old looking. You can see the brewing equipment. While their own beers are decent enough, they're nothing to write home about yet. Food was very good“

“Oldest pub in town with increasing number of beers (and a lot of genevers btw). Although most beers are common they always have some special ones in stock (e.g. Barrel aged Jopen, vintage Hertog Jan Grand Prestige, Lervig sour). The staff is excellent, kind and knowledgable both on beers and genever. They allow you to order delivery services if you get hungry, which I believe is a great little extra.“

“Typical old style Belgian beer bar in the Netherlands: all the usual suspects on the list, mediocre tapbeers, service tenda to be uninterested in customers or doesn’t know anything about beer. At certain moments in time however this is the best place in Delft to drink a beer, when it is sunny, terrace is out, and they have a solid saison on tap. Otherwise, you better go to Het Klooster or Doerak.“

“On the edge of the old town in a modern shopping complex. We’d had a really good day in Delft so it was disappointing that this was our last stop. It’s a sports bar with a limited choice of beers and the service was very poor. A couple of drinks we ordered were quite clearly off - undrinkable in fact - but the barman insisted that they were meant to taste like that. Not a good experience and not recommended. (Visited 19 September 2018).“
