“Narrow, deep, dim-lit venue tended by young and friendly staff. 11 taps serving mostly Spanish ales, (some rarities). They also have a beersafe loaded with La Calavera barrel-aged and bottle-conditioned beers. You'll be able to pair your brews with some very nice cheese, as the name of the place suggests.“

“Visited December 2021. Not an actual BRewpub. Small place, packed on a friday night. Good for Oso ticking, around 8 of yheir beers available on tap, and take away. Fridge with some english stuff (Verdant, Pomona, Deya...).“

“It's primarily a bottle shop, but they also have 4 taps (flights available), and some fridges with cans/bottles and a tiny area in back for drinking in. It was totally full when we visited (apparently, they take reservations), but the woman working allowed us to stand in the bottle shop at the counter and enjoy a couple of brews. Very nice bottle selection, with a good lambic selection, as well as Spanish and other stuff (very different selection than Be Hoppy). Worth a stop when in Madrid.“

“Really great spot not too far from the centre. The place is designed quite beautifully, with tons of bar seating and plenty of tables (including a few patio tables). 40 taps, with flights of 4 available for €10, but they don't let you include any of the sexier beers on the flight (and they had a lot of nice looking imperial stouts) -- no samples either. So, the lack of small pour options for the desirable beers means I didn't like this place as much as I expected. Still, a worthwhile craft beer bar, but I wish they had better serving options.“

“Cool spot, in a pretty central location close-ish to The Stuyck Co. They had 7 taps on when I visited, 2 of which were German guest taps. Of their house beers, 2 were west coast double IPAs, which were solid; the rest didn't look that interesting. Service was decent, though not much English spoken. Not a standout place for me in Madrid, but a cool spot that's worth adding to your beer crawl.“

“An absolutely wonderful place to for bottles, especially for their lambic selection. They also have 6 taps, but you're not going to get small pours here. We stopped in around 6pm on a Friday and it was absolutely packed -- I mean, the place it tiny, so it doesn't take much for that to happen. There's room for maybe 12-15 people. I discovered they had a pretty fantastic lambic selection, including lots from De Cam, 3F, Tilquin, and some Bokke (and other goodies) in the back if you inquire. The owner and other employee were super friendly, helpful and gave top-notch service. Reasonably priced and just a great place to chill. Mandatory visit in Madrid.“

“Great spot close to Fabrica and La Piratas, with AC! Varied taplist of interesting beers from all over Europe, although not much from Spain (quite typical for Madrid it seems). Half pints or pints available, though our server was happy to offer tastes. Prices are reasonable. I was happy with both beers I selected. Great spot and would definitely recommend/return.“

“Very small spot, under 10 minutes walking from The Stuyck Co and La Piratas. They had 8 taps, mostly their own plus a guest sidra. No flights, just half pints and pints, but the friendly Irish bartender was happy to give tastes. Beer quality was middling, with no standouts, but it was all perfectly drinkable. Not a top spot in town, but it goes nicely among a Madrid beer crawl.“

“Yet another Mikkeller Bar to visit; this one was great. Intimate place. Usually they have 20+ taps, but only 8 were on when I visited due to delays in getting shipments from Copenhagen. But at least the 8 included a good collection, included some cool Spontans. The bartender couldn't have been friendlier, more endearing, and generous -- absolutely top-notch service both, including in beer knowledge. And prices weren't too bad compared to many other Mikkeller spots around the world. Great spot -- definitely worth visiting when in Madrid.“

“Top-notch place, walking distance from Brew Wild Pizza Bar. 18 taps, with flights of 4 available for €10, a very good deal, especially considering some of the things they had on tap (an unblended lambic from Beersel, some American stuff, and lots of European stuff, though mostly non-Spanish). Bartender was extremely friendly and informative. One of the best stops in Madrid. Mandatory.“

“Cool little spot, closed to Plaza Mayor. It's an intimate craft beer bar, with a pizza kitchen in back. I just did beer here. They had 15 taps or so; no flights, just half pints or pints, but the bartender was happy to give tastes. Most of the beer list was non-Spanish beers, including 6 from Northern Monk. Reasonably priced and friendly service. Not a top spot in town, but pretty cool spot nonetheless that I'd recommend if you're around here.“

“Very quiet bar which I was waiting for it open at 7pm on a weekday evening, choice of 11 taps, some from Madrid. Decent beers served in 2/3rd's. Serviced with a cheese & cracker tiny bowl. The barman was efficient. Had it opened earlier I would have returned as it was only 5 minutes from my hotel.“

“A surprise to find a very decent bottle shop & tap room in a small local indoor market a short 10 minute walk south of the city centre. there is 12 taps from Madrid / rest of Spain / England & Germany. The bottle shop had 4 full size fridges & 2 shelves of walls of cans & bottles from Spain, Europe & the US. So lots of choice, many which I'd not come across before. Check you expiry dates carefully as a found a couple that had expired.“

“Outstanding 2 floor bar in the centre, 1 minutes walk from my hotel at Plaza de Santa Ana, it was busy every one of the 3 times I visited. Upto 18 changing taps, mostly Spanish with a few of German / English. Everyone I tasted the quality was very good or better and the prices good for the location. Also have a fridge with a small selection. Service was very good. The kitchen serves excellent pizzas from 7pm. Very good white & red wine for my wife also served by the glass at excellent prices. What's not to love!“

“Official pub of La Pirata, in Madrid. The place is nice, with the main room being pretty small, but I haven't explored downstairs. It was lively when I went. Staff gives me the impression of not being beers experts or enthusiasts, but just random people paid to work there. A couple I identified as the owners/managers were doing some accounting (probably) right in the middle of customers. Their cat was moving around freely, which is a hygiene issue, since it also climbed where customers eat. I had to push it away 2-3 times. Selection was only La Pirata (including a jewel like Black Block), with the exception of a German hefeweizen beer (La Pirata doesn't have a hefeweizen in their line??). I had a cheese platter, which was average. Overall, this is potentially a nice place, if managed better.“

“Small beer place, very compact, in what is practically a squared room. Very kind service, with staff offering me the wifi password just by seeing me seeking signal. Just had one beer, but the availability was OK, with also several interesting ones, from Spanish to international breweries. Overall, I'd be happy to go back, especially at a time with few customers.“

“Nice lively bar and fun bar in the centre. Atmosphere was lively and fun, service was kind and provided some bread with jamon, or chocolate with my imperial stout. Like that! Selection was pretty nice, though not large numerically. Prices were OK. Overall, a nice experience I'd be happy to repeat, and I'd be looking forward to trying those wonderful charcutterie and cheese platters I saw running around.“

“Small busy bar in the centre. Lively atmosphere. Service was on point and readily available. Selection was numerically average (10 beers on tap, if I remember correctly), but of very nice quality. Half of the beers were imp. stout, barley wine, sour... Overall, I'd be very happy to go back and try more.“

“Average bar in the centre. Quiet atmosphere, not many tables available. Service was also quiet, probably because it was early for larger masses of people. They just minded their business. Selection on tap was rather good (17 beers), though only 4 Spanish beers. Strange. Overall, OK and good beers. But not very enjoyable.“

“Even though they have some craft ales, this is a bar to drink vermouth -that misterious conconction so embedded in Madrid's DNA and so foreing to non-locals. Check the classic azulejo tiles, order a 'vermú rojo' garnished with a slice of orange, and forget about beer for a while.“

“The old beer joint shuttered down some time ago -and I still miss it. Javi, the owner, was as friendly as it gets, knowledgeable, always on the look for new things... This new place is nice, just around the corner from the previous one, and now they don't act as a shop, but just as a beer bar. Not bad, but not half as good as the original one, IMHO.“

“Very nice and friendly beer shop with the option of having one in situ -some tables and stools scattered around, some fridges from where to grab a cold one. As a shop, they do deliver to your door and, from time to time, you might also find strange old rarities clearly worth while to those in the know (i.e. I found some vintage old La Trappe batches some time ago that had been long retired.)“

“Came here on 26.8.2021. Quite centrally located (do not come with a car!). Very small beer bar with 15 local craft beers on tap (a few La Quince taps), a Pizza kitchen and a small beer fridge. Downstairs a very nice, red bricks, vaulted cellar. Was lucky to get a table on a Thursday at 8 pm (reservation is a good idea). Beers were excellent and Pizza was good.“

“Came here on 26.8.2021. Located in the outskirts of Madrid, 15 km from the airport, next to a car wash. No dedicated parking but you might find a slot on the main road. Brewhouse is visible through a glass wall. Nice simple interior. Roughly 10 beers on tap. I had a dry hopped IPA and a Stout both were quite good. Very friendly service and a really good value (5 € the pint, 15 € the brewery T-Shirt).“
