“Another place that wisly serves coffee in the morning and beer in the afternoon. Cofee place atmosphere, the main room has the serving bar and sells cards, knicknacks, maple syrup of course, etc. The second room has a cozy sofa and scattered chairs. Beers are mostly local.“

“Nicely set up tasting room, with both indoor and outdoor areas on a big plot of land. Close to Rock Art Brewing, but that’s about it for the area. A dozen or taps of their own beer, available in 4 oz pours, 2 at a time for some reason. They had a couple of guest taps also, including a cider. Good food menu too, including a bunch of vegan options. Prices a bit high, but doable. Friendly, helpful service. Beer was solid. Worth a stop.“

“Small swag store and L-shaped bar on the front end of a production brewery that is smaller than I expected. Plenty of parking. Eight beers on offer, small pours (three ounces?) for a buck apiece, as many or as few as you like. Lots of other beers to go in bottles and cans plus Vermont souvenirs, cheese, maple syrup, etc. Beers were fine, service was friendly.“

“Beautiful taproom on the front of the brewery which is in a former agricultural building, probably a creamery. Right next to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. Outside area under giant eaves with lots of picnic tables and both a grill and a smoker. Plenty of parking. Ten or so beers on offer, max two tasters at a time, probably due to stupid state beer laws, but not a big deal. Service is highly attentive. Food is tasty and creative, lots of local there just for lunch. Worth going out of your way to visit.“

“Quick stop on the way to the Hill. Rock Art gets a bit of a bad rep among locals, but its not bad at all. This is a perfectly good space, tasting room with sample pours for about $1.50 apiece. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beer was decent overall. Worth a visit.“

“Stopped in on my NE tour last summer. Hey a tickers got to get ticks. Nice little place very friendly staff. The had a nice selection on the board tasters and full pours good price. They also have some bottles or cans to go along with other random stuff like syrup jams and treats.“

“This place might be a chain, but have been known to get HF beers. Watch their website when they post. Other offerings are usually Lost Nation, Rock Art, Ten Bends (that feels good to say places are starting to put that little nano brewery on tap), and Maine Beer Company. Two rotating ciders. Food is good, easy to take children. Clean and fairly good service.“

“Visited on a Friday night around 8 pm. It is located in what looks like an industrial park. Plenty of parking available. The place is big enough for maybe 75 people. The bar is decent sized. I sat there and had a flight of 8 beers. Good diversity of styles. I had a couple Goses, a saison, an amber, acouple pales, and a stout. The service was very friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable and in line with the area. Would recommend visiting if you are close by.“

“Funny how we ended up here...driving from Hill Farmstead to the new Alchemist Brewery in Stowe...this is the way the GPS took us. We did not have Rock Art on our itinerary...after Alchemist we were going to Fiddlehead...but if you are a true craftbeer lover...and especially also a craftbeer traveler...you love the magic of happenstance...and if you travel as much as I do for craftbeer...it fortunately happens more than occasionally. This was one of those times...we "accidentally" found ourselves driving past Rock Art and both of us noticed it...or at least had brain recognition about 50 years "after" we’d passed it. Well...like I said...not on our agenda...but hard to pass a perfectly good brewery you "accidently" find you self in front of by dumb luck! We were going for a quick stop...but the staff was great...and because of them we stayed longer...tried more beers...and enjoyed more conversation. Honestly...Rock Art makes some good beers and some very good beers...but I wouldn’t rank them as a top tier northern VT brewer...but they are a very solid second level player. If in the area definitely stop in (and Lost Nation nearby)...enjoy the beers...but especially enjoy the staff and the conversation which made it for us!“

“Cool place in rural Vermont. Nice beer garden outside with the smoky smells of the kitchen. Had a seemingly big tap list (9 beers), but they were out of 4 of them. Even of the 9 beers, nothing was above 5.9% ABV, which I found interesting. Had a good pork belly sandwich, and a good flight of those 5 beers (for $5!). The mosaic IPA was amazing; wish I could’ve tried the galaxy. Good place.“

“Another solid spot in Morrisville. large parking. Welcomed by very pleasant service. When ordering samples you will be explained of style etc. This is good for newer to craft folks. When noticed my rating book I was offered to speak with brew master. Samples are at 1 S each. Great value as beers were accurate and to the style. perhaps tad on safe side, but we need such as well.“

“From outside when arriving this place does not look like much. Big converted barn? Large parking outside, entrance hidden on side. Right out of car you are welcomed with great smoked aromas of BBQ. Food was simply great. Great portions of great juicy ribs, burgers etc....They do offer samplers. During visit they had 5 of their beers on tap with few other guests (ie BFM). Beers were simply very good plus. Hidden Gem.“

“Fairly quick stop on the drive back from the Hill. Doing a brisk business on a Thursday afternoon. Small place with a bar and a few tables around the outside. They had about 8 taps running while we were there. Everything available in small pours (3oz) for $1 each, which pretty much rocks for the tickers. Server was friendly, helpful, and happy to talk beer and beer trading. Lively atmosphere. Beers by and large pretty dialed in and enjoyable. Recommended.“

“Called here mid November, on the way to HF. Pulled up just after opening and so got to drink beer for breakfast, basically! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff member, who was juggling phone calls, filling shelves, and chatting to, and serving us, very efficiently. Dollar pours. Solid beers. Nice seating area looking over the brewery. A must visit really.“

“Cool little brewery with various offering style speaking. Pretty much all brews are great the exception would be their Pitch black. Being that close to Rock Art and not far from the Waterbury/Stowe area makes it an interesting spot to an already vibrant area. Food selection is not super vast but everything is fresh an tasty. We had the open face roastbeef sandwich the meat was incredible. The cheese platter had a super nice apple sauce, the soup was excellent but perhaps a little too spicy. Growler filing is available. Flight are served in little tulip glass which is really nice. Personal favourite would be the Petit Ardennes, the Gose and Lost galaxy.“

“Visited 7-11. One of the places I really looked forward to going turned out to be a dud. Pulling up, it looked cool with an outdoor area with people talking, eating, and drinking. It was pretty packed, so we decided to head inside to check stuff out. Super hot in there, but we wanted to have drinks so were prepared to make do. I asked who looked like the head bartender for some flights and was very rudely told that if I wanted that to go outside and ask a server. Guy had a hat on, but looked like he has long darker/grayish hair. If you see him, he is a dick. That right there pretty much put me off, but we still wanted beer. One server who greeted us when first entering saw us come back out and asked if the guy inside was rude to us, so I figure it’s a common occurrence. Really sucks he’s still employed there for how he treats people, and workers (more on that later). Who knows, maybe he owns it and can do what he wants. Anyway, we got the last table outside and a very friendly server helped us from there so it was much better service. Selection was ok, but some drafts they were out of, and even some cans, so it was slim picking. I didn’t really like anything I got besides the Gose. That was good. The IPA tasted like a hefe, and the pitch black was horrible too. Food looked amazing, however, we had already eaten so we skipped that. The price on each flight was very good, so no issues there. Towards the end when we were leaving the same dick bartender was outside and asked to see one of the female servers. We heard her say what did I do now? Looking over he was bitching about something in her face and then left. I will say I wouldn’t go back here ever again. I know most people have rated this well and will probably get on this bad one saying give it another chance, but first impressions go a long way. I know I’m the minority here because a couple times we were out and talking to each other about going to Roack Art again and both times locals overheard us and said we should just go down the road to Lost Nation instead. We said we didn’t care for it and people were shocked each time, so this might be rare. Who knows, maybe it was an off night for them. I’m just rating based on my experience.“

“A nice little brewery taproom. They typically have a solid range of beers on offer, which tend to be of very good quality. The food here, too, is very good. The ambiance inside is fairly charming, even though it doesn’t look like much from the outside. The service was friendly and efficient.

Definitely worth a stop if you are driving around this part of Vermont.“

“Visited 7-11 and one other time during my stay as it was close AND open at 9 am. Heck yea! Flight samplers are available, I think it was 4 for 4 bucks. Service was top notch each time and we felt welcomed. Even give you oyster crackers with your flight. Selection of beers was solid, as were the bottle options. Black Currant Saison was one of my favorites and was only like 4 bucks for a bomber. There’s value! I did get a BA Impy Stout and I think it was 9 bucks or somewhere around there. Still very good. Solid place to go, especially for tourists in a hotel room who can’t sleep and their primary reason for being in town is beer. By the time you finish here many of the local taphouses and other breweries are open, so this is a nice starter.“

“Very industrial brewery. they contract brew for a few places. they have an extensive tasting room loaded with weird VT Gift Shop stuff like cutting boards in the shape of vermont state. There’s not really a tour. you can go up stairs and check out a nice view of the brewery. Not a bad stop for ticking. The to-go beers are very cheap.“

“This is an excellent place. The food is outrageously good I think though only served during summer months. Excellent tap list with growlers / bottles to go..sometimes cans. It’s small in the winter time with limited seating but lost nation just has this excellent vibe.“

“Another brewery that wasn’t on my radar. The best part was running into the same people at the third stop in a row, as well as their awesome dog. Long, narrow place, darkly lit, upscale rustic vibe. 6 beers on tap, along with several guest taps. 2 bottles available. Small food menu, tasty food. Samples are cheap but bottles and food were pretty pricy. Beer quality was overall very good, but there was a lot of similarity between different beers. Customer service was excellent. Nice place.“

“Randomly drove by here so I thought I’d stop in. Retail shop with a bar. Fairly bright. Samples available at $1 per sample (per 4 or 8). Beers were typical boring, but well crafted save one. Bottles available are cheap with the exception of the barrel aged stuff. They do not sell the 12 ounce bottles as singles. They also did not have the black currant saison, even though it was advertised outside the brewery, which is a shame because I LOVE currants. Bartenders were both nice and helpful. Dog friendly. Decent place.“

“Whether you’re a Vermont local or just visiting, there are a lot of microbreweries & pubs to choose from and this place is definitely worthy of being a high priority on that list. Takes a little doing to find it as the roads and the maps don’t quite agree and the place where they are looks like a public works dept. & a lumber yard from the street, but they are back there, in the rear of the red building. The staff, both waitresses and bartender were super friendly, helpful and all surprisingly very knowledgeable about the beer, food and even the guest brews. They had six of their own on tap this day with three other guest brews as well. We took the sampler to start and some food, despite not being very hungry at the time. I liked that they had several of the less common, everybody’s got em, beer styles (Gose, Saison, Pilsner, Blonde Belgian) but felt they were lacking of a Stout, Porter or Barley Wine, something on the bolder, malty end of the spectrum. Being a Stout fan, I was surprised when I didn’t find their Pitch Black brew to be worth the anticipation, when I finally got to that end of the sampler board, but I was very happy with others as I worked through, particularly the Petit Ardennes & Saison Lamoille and went back for more of that after properly emptying all the sampler glasses. Inquired about the guest brews and was promptly given a generous taste of each and in a decent glass, not a plastic thimble... The food, largely composed of locally sourced ingredients, was really outstanding and I quickly went from "I’m not so hungry, I’ll just pick" to ravenous and wanting more. In fact the memory is making me hungry as I write this. Overall, one of my favorite places so far. Very respectable brew, great menu and food in an enjoyable atmosphere with nice people. Looking forward to returning regularly and will be looking for their beer on the taps of other establishments.“

“Nice little brewery tucked behind a old mill looking warehouse in Vermont. Great outdoor patio with wafts of delicious meat being grilled. We choose to cozy up next to the bar inside and had a nice tasty cheese plate and went through the gamut of brews being offered. The gose was the standout with all the other offerings having some appeal but nothing too memorable. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Nice place to stop on the route from Greensboro to Waterbury !“

“Lost Nation, man. They have a clear vision for their beers that is executed consistently in their high quality and old world subtlety. The space is rustic and comfortable, with excellent smokehouse style food that is honest and locally sourced. The bartender was savvy to the beer world as any but especially proud of his own product, and this attitude is merited even given Vermont’s wealth of modern craft beer excellence. None of their products will precipitate massive crowds, but their careful composure and always excellent balance is difficult to overstate. The two guest lines on this visit were de proef sour barrel no. 1 and a brand new de dolle offering; perfectly complimentary to their house beers besides being double-take worthy choices. I urge everyone to count this superb brewery within the list of top necessities to visit amongst the many in this state.“

“Great setup, especially in the summer with the newish very large patio punctuated with sparse picnic tables and opened on the gril. Extremely laid back, comfortable and welcoming. This young brewery produces some of the best beers in the state. Their pilsner in particular is superb. The Gose is also a safe bet and their Belgian styles are also above average. You should find all that among the 8-beer long draught list here with most available to take a growler home and somehow, they add a Belgian tap which seems to always feature a world-class blockbuster like Struise or De Dolle. So good that it’s almost tempting. The food consists of a limited selection of mostly BBQ stuff. For the location, prices seemed a little on the steep side, but nothing outrageous and the quality seemed slightly variable from one place to another. The ribs were a little rough for one and the salmon was a bit unevenly grilled. It remains pretty good though.“

“If you like their beer, visit this place. They have a lot of varieties on tap and they’re reasonably priced for a pour. Unfortunately I can’t imagine anyone liking the beer as it is really bad, especially with so many other great selections in Vermont.“

“My husband and I visited for the first time on a weekend trip to VT. We were really impressed by the beer. On tap were Gose, Vermont Pilsner, Rustic Ale, Saison Lamoille, Petit Ardennes and Pitch Black. We had the Gose, Rustic Ale, Saison Lamoille and Petit Ardennes. All were great but we took home the Saison and Rustic Ale. It was nice to have some great tasting beers that were under 5.5% in alcohol. Pints were very inexpensive. The place seats about 2 dozen people and has a comfortable atmosphere. We didn’t try the food but it looked delicious. We actually went twice in the same day! We’ll be back.“

“Was pleasantly surprised by Rock Art. Nice little brewery (thought it would have been much bigger). Very cozy and welcoming. Staff was great.
