“Very local and authentic place with beautiful patio outside surrounded by vine. Easy walk through a forest from den Herberg. Decent beer selection with plenty of lambic. Nothing super interesting, but still plenty of good beers. Bring cash! I had to walk to the train station and back to get cash from ATM.“

“Visited in the afternoon. Pretty large place with plenty of seating. Seems to be popular with the locals. 6 taps and about 60 bottles. Solid selection of gueuze. 3 or 4 of their beers were available on tap, more in bottles. Kind service, the lady working there showed me the brewing equipment in the back. Nice village pub, wouldn't say it's a must visit.“

“Really enjoyable local brewpub with an extended beer selection (from your ordinary pub) including some lambics and Trappist beers 😋. The owner was really welcoming and gladly showed me the brewery in the back when I asked ☺️. I can imagine this place is a blast to get drunk in when they are hosting concerts and other events 🍻. Definitely not the best beer selection in the world but still highly recommended!“

“Nice drinks shop. Besides the beer selection also huge selection of other (alcoholic) drinks. Good selection of Belgium beers in general and very good selection of Geuzes. Prices are ok. And so is the staff. Would definitely visit again when around.“

“Visited during Tour de Geuze 2022. Gorgeous modern in built but lovely old fashioned brown bar, lots of wood, looks awesome. There were also chairs outside and terrace was very pleasant. There was also a show where they sold their regular beers plus mangums of Oude Geuze Devillé for the reasonable price of 22 euro. Their regular range plus lambiek range was available. Menu had also coffee, soda etc. We sat on the terrace in general, good service, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Lovely. Old lambiek or geuze didn't do it too much for me but their young (dated 1+ back which seemed impossibly young) was amazing.“

“Grote ruimte met een luidruchtig publiek maar vriendelijke bediening. Nette prijzen en een ruim assortiment, waarin de eigen bieren, tot mijn verbazing, niet de hoofdrol spelen. De sfeer is ietwat naargeestig. Toch een bezoekje waard wanneer je in Buizingen bent.“

“Pretty modern looking cosy (lots of wood!) bar/pub, with some basic food items on the menu, an extensive beer list, especially for a brewery. Which seems kinda weird to me, because of this, there must be cannibalisation of their own beers. Anyway, good atmosphere, nice lighting. Weird location, not sure about parking, but there's definitely no parking in front, as this is a small street with full rows of houses on both sides. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the neighbourhood.“

“Massive place with the largest selection I saw while in Belgium. Clean and well organized, the lambic alone took up the entire back corner wall of the beer section. Many obscure local craft beers. The clerk was friendly when we asked a couple questions. Great prices and a very deep selection. Nice whisky and spirits selection as well. Highly recommended.“

“Drinks hall like you’ll find often in Belgium, but with a very good lambic portfolio, including many 3F beers. Certainly not cheap, I expected lower prices. Still worth a quick stop before or after visiting 3 Fonteinen.“

“Warehouse with a huge selection. Also lots of harder to find stuff, like from 3 Fonteinen, which is one train stop away. Propably the best price range of any beer shop I have been to in Belgium so far! Definitely recommended, if combined with a visit at 3 Fonteinen.“

“Visited April 2017 - Café De Kring Lambiekbieren: focussed on nearby Boon, with a nice, not always advertised offering of Oud Beersel and maybe some other draught lambiek (Girardin). Relaxed corner café with mostly sports (koers/voetbal) or soaps on (mute) TV. lots of relaxed local character, while used to international visitors at the same time. Ask for not-on-the-menu specials and Try the caracollen (snails) in their spicy soup and the kipkap nibbles.“

“A real good selection of beers but also single malts and gins. Most Belgian craft beers at interesting prices“

“Typical warehouse style shop with a quite decent selection. All beers are available as singles, a big plus, and besides well known mid size and large brewers there are a bunch of local breweries available and some special releases. Nothing crazy though, no imports at all it seems. Limbic selection was good, cheap, with the basic line-up of all producers plus some somewhat special ones like Megablend and the Bzart series. Prices are low to very low very glad I stopped by, although I doubt they get much interesting stuff in frequently. If I’m passing by again, it’s for the low prices and the odd special release Belgian.“

“Oh my... They opened late (without notice), when I came back the locals got their chat before I was helped, then it turned out their beer was not available. At all, not even on bottle. I’ve seen this is two different local shops though! Very cluttered interior, cleaning supplies, boxes and generally stuff everywhere. So uninviting. This surely lives solely on the locals drinking their mid sized breweries. Happy I got the bottles elsewhere for the ticks, but the place is to avoid!“

“Visited on Saturday 21/11/15 around 11am. Medium sized booze warehouse approx 10 to 15 minutes drive from Beersel. Fairly spartan inside but let’s face it you’re here to stock up on Lambic not for a fucken dinner dance ! Great choice of said style, shelves of Tilquin (at least four different), 2015 Mega Blend, Hansenns, 3F geueze, Lindemans etc etc. No Cantillon in stock but apparently they get it from time to time. Plenty of other Belgian offerings, pretty much everything you’d expect plus a few of he newer breweries such as Brussels Beer Project and De La Senne. Various wines and spirits on offer, bier likely takes up less than half the floor space. All very reasonably priced ... Mega Blend and Tilquin all under €10 for 750’s. Service just ok. Typical of these large booze warehouse affairs, the queue suddenly builds up to 5 or 6 people and you’re presented with a ten to fifteen minute wait while they fail to react and open another till despite random staff members floating about seemingly doing nothing. Well worth a stop if you are in the Beersel area and want to load the motor up. Less than a 5 minutes drive from Drankenservice Schoentjes.“

“This cafe has been around 128 years. An authentic interior. the café promotes Gueuze Lambic beers and local beers. (3 year old Lambic Boon on tap) It has a terrace for 30 people. An ideal rest stop for hikers and cyclists. “

“One of the finest secrets in Belgium. Especially for people who like Geuze. The Boon Vat 44 is amazing, be fast because there are only 20000 bottles“

“Nice place to enjoy a nice beer! They also have their own beers, herberg blond, amber, tarwe, brown and St Rochus. Only tried the blond and was very nice. Didn’t visit the brewery (that is in the back of the pub) but this is possible if you ask for it.“

“This small brewpub was founded by Bart and Ann Deville Heremans on February 1, 2007. I visited the cafe Jan. 22, 2010 and tried their Blond, Tarwe and Amber were nice. If you wish, you are allowed to see brouwzaal in a friendly manner. Cozy though smoking environment.“
