“Used for the first time to order a load of special beers for our tasting group's Christmas knees-up. Fast delivery to France. Only gripe is one of the large bottles arrived smashed, which was a shame. Bubble wrap around the beer could've probably prevented it. Still, a great selection of stuff unavailable to us here in the UK. Huge range, mostly of the 75cl bottle variety, lots of exclusive releases, despite the breakage I'll place an order again in the future.“

“Liked the look of their webshop so placed an order as saw lots of new brewery ticks, as well as some beers from other breweries I like but had not seen released elsewhere, nice mix of both Belgium as well as UK/EU/US offerings. Two of the beers were just past BBE so they contacted me next day, apologised and asked if I could choose replacement beers but still send me those beers free of charge (great service) especially as the BBE beers were still in great condition. Quick delivery, well packed, nice website, great service - lots to like here. Recommended.“

“Good webshop with good beers. I especially came to this webshop for their Fantômes, but they also have a nice assortment of other fine Belgium and internationale beers. Prices were ok. No problems selecting and purchasing the beers. Package was in The Netherlands in a few days. Sturdy packaging. Will certainly buy again from this webshop.“

“I used their online webshop for the first time about ten days ago. The site is clear, easy to navigate and whilst the variety isn't as big as some I've used lately it's still impressive and is well laid out in terms of overall beer styles and then broken down into numerous sub styles. On the subject of choice I liked the fact that there was a good mix between some lesser seen Canadian, US etc beers and then lots of Belgian offerings, I've used the site again these last few days to top up on De Dolle. I also like the fact that as you put each item in the shopping basket it keeps an update of the weight and tells you in percentage terms if you are close to filling it when you hit 80%. When the beer arrived, WOW!!!! it was it well packed, a large box with cardboard dividers, bubblewrap and paper gave a protective cushioning across the bottom and a cardboard layer across the top and every single item bubblewrapped and sellotaped, it was like nothing I've seen before and I have had some well wrapped beers believe me. I like these guys, prices are good, really competitive and I think every purchase builds up points in your account so when you hit 500 points btw this = €500 then you get 5% off, I am probably well over halfway there now. * Also if you need to contact them to seek an update, they are very quick to get back in touch with you. There is very, very little to criticise here with these guys, they are pretty much flawless, I suspect that they along with 2-3 other webshops this will become a regular now for me.“

“Rating is for the online shop. Great range of Belgian beers available. Prices are reasonable. Communication / service / delivery is a bit slow but the packaging is bullet proof. They do provide a useful service collecting orders from the likes of 3F and will pack and send on to individuals. Obviously there is a charge for this service but it's handy if someone cannot get to Belgium to collect in person“

“First review january 2017 score 72: The site is quite old-fashioned and a bit difficult to navigate. Has a nice selection of international and rarely available beers like from Switzerland, good prices. Packaging rather overdone but having said that this is always better than inadequate packaging. Second review february 2019: The site has had an upgrade, looks quite nice and is easy to navigate and still a nice, varied selection. Packaging remains very solid.“

“achter een onverzorgde deur, precies of deze zaak ter ziele is gegaan, schuilt een mooie selectie bieren. ik was er heel alleen en dat geeft een raar beeld, maar de selectie, halleluja, dat ziet er prima uit, heb mij vooral getrakteerd op de biertjes van Alvinne, maar ook Kees en vele Geuze's kan je hier vinden, zelfs geuze's met yuzu had ik nog nooit gezien, top selectie, nu nog wat werken aan het uitzicht en de sfeer....“

“I stumbled onto their webshop looking for Russian beer. Pricing is fair, shipping is superfast and excellent packed. Shipping is free for Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands when you sepnt more than 50 euros. The webshop looks a bit dated though, but it works. I'll shop again. “

“Very interesting web shop with a great selection of Belgian and international beers, mainly from the US, Scandinavia and the UK, but also from Switzerland (BFM) or the Netherlands. Usually high quality stuff, some are hard to find elsewhere. Prices are okay compared to other shops, shipping is quite slow unfortunately, took a bit more than a week to deliver to Germany, packaging was excellent though. Shipping costs are very reasonable. Will definitely order again in the future!“

“Will certainly visit the place itself soon, but for now my reating concerns the webshop. The site is quite annoying to navigate and looks antiquated, but the content - info and availability - is great. Very nice selection of many international and rarely available beers, plus super attractive prices. Highly recommended for that! I was not a big fan of the packaging, a bit overdoen and all that tape... took long to open en I doubt if this is needed for non-overseas packages. But as said the shop is, I found out too late, not so far away so next plan is to visit them!“

Ambiance - Warehouse with some shelves of beers placed to make part of the huge warehouse a small walkin beer store. Calm and to the point.
Service - Very friendly and helpful. Even reserved a hard to get bottle that sold out on the web for me.
Selection - Small compared to the big beer stores in Belgium but focused on quality rather than quantity.
Food - Not relevant.
Value - not as cheap as the bigger stores but still fair. everything seemed to be cheaper in the store than on the web.
Additional comments - Perhaps not worth the detour considering most of the stuff is available in their webstore but a friendly place and a good visit.

“The web site isn’t very user friendly, but this seems to be the common theme with decent beer shops. They took some time to ship out the package (3 days), but the packaging was really good and otherwise everything went smoothly. The selection isn’t the biggest, but they have some interesting and harder to find stuff. The lambic section is nice and have reasonable prices. They also carry different vintages of different beers, which is very nice touch. Some of the vintage bottles are not very cheap, but at least you can get them without any hustle. Otherwise the beer prices are reasonable, some bottles are more expensive than in the other places, some are cheaper. The shipping was rather expensive, but not stupid expensive. Overall: good shop, recommended.“

“Ordered a dozen 750ml bottles (mostly Fantome) on a Tuesday evening. Received the order early the following Monday. Very well packed - bubble wrap, strong tape, cardboard dividers, packing paper all used, and in a very sturdy box. Bomb proof. I found the prices extremely reasonable. P&P was €17. Will definitely use again.“

“Ordered from this company the first time last week and received my beers in good condition by post today, very well protected in a sturdy box with paper and plastic wrap around the bottles, which were separated by carton walls. Communication with the owner went well (but do not expect a quick reply to a mail sent through the address shown on the site itself...). This shop has an interesting selection of Belgian beers, some of which are very hard to find, as well as a good selection of highly rated craft beers from the most active other European beer countries (Denmark, Italy, UK, Netherlands and Norway). No US beers, unfortunately. Interesting shop to purchase craft brews, but not the cheapest: in comparison with other online beer shops, prices were up to 30% higher. I do recommend keeping this one as a supplementary service to purchase the rarer European specialties, however.“

“Erg goede service, uitstekende selectie met Belgische speciaal bieren. Veel bieren die ik nergens anders op internet ben tegen gekomen. Bestelling wordt bijzonder goed ingepakt en werd binnen enkele dagen in Nederland bezorgd. Prijzen voor Belgische bieren zijn netjes, voor internationale bieren wel wat aan de hoge kant, hetgeen bij meer internetwinkels echter het geval is. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug.“

“User friendly webshop. Service is good. Selection is one of the best available on the web, especially when you are looking for lambics. Focused on quality more than quantity. Prices are a tad high compared to a regular store, but that’s understandable. Packing is excellent. If you are a Québec/Canada customer like me, you have to know that there’s a chance your box might be seized by the customs (not because of Être though).“

“This has developed to my favourite online shop! The selection from Belgium is outstanding, they sometimes get super rare stuff, for example top rated 3F Lambics! Also some interesting stuff from other European countries, like Britain, the Netherlands or Scandinavia, but most of the time I end up ordering only Belgian beers, as there is always so much new, great stuff to order, by so many interesting breweries. For example they get most of the new special releases by De la Senne, one of my favourite Belgian breweries.

Pricing is also among the best you can find in any European online shop. Even the rare stuff is priced generously, but often sold out within hours.

They also give you more information than most webshops: weight of the bottles and the shipping weight of your items in the cart, so that you always have in sight how much else you can order without a higher shipping rate. But most notably they give you bottling dates for most bottles, really great service!

Shipping went down to 15 Euros for all EU orders recently, which is also really good. And there’s another great option, you can reserve an order and combine it with your next order to safe on shipping. Shipping itself is super fast and very safe packed!

Overall this is clearly the best online shop for Belgian beer. Period.“

“Placed an order here for some Hommage. Good selection of Belgian, Dutch and Scandanavian beers and a spattering from the UK and Germany. Prices are pretty decent as is the postage cost to the UK. My Hommage turned up well packed and 8 days after I ordered with Xmas in the middle of this, so can’t argue (effectively 2 to 3 working days). All safe and sound on receipt. I almost didn’t get the delivery as the address defaulted to my PayPal which is not where I wanted the beers sent. I didn’t actually receive an email when I ordered which is where I would have checked these details. I emailed the website via the link, heard nothing for 2 days then checked back to see a message stating, this link is epxeriencing problems, please use this email address. I got a prompt response once I used this means of communication and luckily my order hadn’t gone out and they were able to deliver to the correct address. All this would have been avoided however had I received a confirmation email upon ordering the beers which is what every other on line retailer I’ve used does and I’d have had a lot of hassle retreiving the order from the other address. This aside I will definately use them agian. UPDATE:- Second order, really well packed once again and a very speedy delivery. Ordered on a Thursday lunchtime, delivered on a Monday afternoon to the UK. Will use again soon.“
