“An old bank building. The Vault is open and it's now "The Whiskey Vault". U shaped bar in the middle, plenty of seating. Good service, it's fairly slow on a Thursday afternoon. The Fish & Chips was OK, but nothing to write home about. Food prices were high for the quality. Decent beer prices though. A decent tap list of beers you expect to be in an Irish Pub along with a couple No. CA breweries. I did get 2 new ticks that weren't in the RB database (not surprised by that though!!!).“

“Not sure what happened to my place rating. Visited July 2, 2018. Luckily I still have my notes in the phone. Nice tap room off to side of the brewery with a patio out back. The beer was solid. Good, friendly service. Hope to get back someday.“

“It's a small local brewery with the the vibe you would expect. A nice patio that had live music on it, a big warehouse type space with a bunch of picnic tables inside and a bar on to one side, tanks visible in the back. Service was fine, didn't ask them any questions but they seemed to know there stuff decently enough. Selection was varied but skewed towards hoppy styles. Nothing special but if you live in Woodland it's probably awesome as its the only real option.“

“Update 2: They have the 24 can Egerer Advent pack. Not greatest beers, but 24 apparently different German beers. Haven’t seen that anywhere else. Update: Just got 2 Strike ales. Have been getting Boulevard specials before they show elsewhere. CostCos aren’t very warm inside, and they probably have as big a turnover as most stores. Original: Ok. Why add this? Cause they are selling beers I am not finding any where else. Good beers. Like the latest Firestone Velvet Merkin (Mocha) - which has only 5 ratings in the database. If we don’t put in places like this, people may miss the opportunity to find some good beers. So it’s a big old warehouse, with quite a few "local" high qualtity beers at pretty reasonable prices. Sadly the webpage search feature doesn’t cover beer, so a personal trip to check inventory is necessary. I’ve gotten about 5 new to me beers here in past weeks.“

“Not all that many beers - but a decent selection of over the pond Irish/UK and getting new locals. I’ve already had a new tick here. Food is very good - at least the Irish stew and the fish & chips. Service can be a bit spotty when there’s a crowd, but it’s cheerful, attentive, sometimes conversational. It’s in a very old bank building - wood and marble. So far I’ve enjoyed the place. Downside is street parking or about a block to the north in a city lot. Try it out.“

“Update: Crowlers!! And some nice beers of the sour and very hoppy types. : Soft opening two days before "official". Mixed media bar. 5 beers on. Many more in the future. Decor overall Blue and White. Wooden furnishings. Hand crafted appearance. Good service. Owner was available. Servitors seemed to know the product. After an initial run in, there will be reliable food trucks for solids. Give it a shot.“

“There’s really nothing here that cannot be found at Nugget in Woodland or The Davis Beer Shoppe. Besides, if you don’t have a membership, you have to go through the hassle of getting a temporary alcohol one. Occasionally, they will have mixed 24 packs of Firestone Walker, which is the only thing that interests me. Unfortunately, age and warm storage is a turn-off.“

“Nice little store. Reminds me of Whole Foods. Nice long cooler for brews. A lot of selection with both US micros and a good amount of imports. Quite a few singles as well. If I lived in the area I’m sure I’d be here often.“

“Why add another Nugget? Cause it seems this is the only one that had Sierra Nevada 30th Jack & Ken’s ale. Otherwise lots of choice. Usually not so many choices as the one in Davis, CA., but this was a coup. In September 2013 the store is being remodeled and the beer cooler line up is as or more impressive than the one in Davis. Game of Thrones #2 today! Store was remodeled; major cheese section with a cheese person (tho you may have to ask someone to chase him/her down). Wall of beer. Major change - I’m frequently getting new good beers - tho usually "local" ones.“

“Very nice grocery store in Woodland. Good craft selection. Not huge, but they have some beers from local Sacramento area breweries that you can’t find outside the area. I showed up at the butt crack of dawn when everyone was busy stocking shelves but a couple employees asked me if I needed help. Prices were very good. Come here for local brews.“

“Had about 20 minutes to spare between family gatherings... stopped in just to see what I could find to finish out the weekend. Long cooler line with a nice amount of singles and bombers. Velvet Merkin? Check. Lots of stuff i’d like to try... too bad I can’t pack much to take home. Nice grocery store.“

“Best beer selection in town. Other Nugget Markets in the area have a better selection, but you can request hard-to-find items, and you their prices are lower than other supermarkets in the area.“

“Agreed with bhenson on this Nugget. Usually, this is the last Nugget to get good beer. Be very wary of old bottles here. Turnover sucks, and it’s not uncommon for them to try to sell you a year old bottle (I got burned when I mistakenly bought a 2009 infected Abyss). Sometimes, this works out, though. I bought some 2010 Bigfoot here in October of 2010. This place gets some fresh Pliny occasionally if your timing is lucky. The cheese selection here, could definitely be better, too, although they have Cypress Grove stuff.“
