COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our distinctly American twist on a classic Belgian-style farmhouse ale takes its name from the notoriously unpredictable fermenter, where this signature beer's perfect combination of ingredients first came to life. You could call it fate. Our brewers called it Tank 7. This beautifully complex, straw-colored ale starts with a surge of fruity aromatics and big grapefruit hoppy notes, before tapering to a dry, peppery, lingering finsh.

chinhaez (413) - Ouray CO, Colorado, USA - MAR 8, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2024 Can. Pours a orangey-copper color with a smallish white head that has decent retention. Aroma is strong with mixed fruits such as persimmons, mangoes and kumquats. The taste like the aroma, is similarly quite strong with mixed fruits. there is a mild piney bitterness on the back end. The palate is smooth and even with soft carbonation. Finishes long with lingering fruits and a bit of acidity. Overall: Decent saison but not top shelf. This is the first time I've had it from a can and it seems like a whole different animal than the older bottled versions I remember.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2023 Best by August 2nd 2023. Pours a clear bright golden colour with a finger of foam, lacing is good. Big notes of pine in the smell with Belgian yeast, some light cloves, some citrus. The taste is big pine, Belgian yeast, cloves, nice marriage between a Saison and IPA. The finish is nice and bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very tasty beer.
