Backlog, Bottle on many occasions including Easter in 11 or ’12. Orange pour with a frothy and large white head. Smell is fresh cut grass, light spice, apricot skin, and misc flowers. A nice bouquet on her. Medium bodied with a dry but hoppy finish.

Bottle. As "Mikkeller Drikkeriget GIPA" - BBE date Oct 2011; Drank Sept 2011 - Yellowy Gold in colour. Very Hoppy; grassy hops. Fruity; grapefruit citrus. Yeasty. Malty; toasty malts. Nice mildly bitter hoppy throughout. (2011-09-18)

Grassy, vegetables, resin, barnyard aromas. Nice clear pale gold with fine floating sediment. Medium bitterness and mild sweetness. Well balanced. Medium body, oily, long yeasty finish. Unusual as IPAs go, but a nice change.

a unique beer, but once that novelty wore off, it was kind of a miss. grassy lemony aroma, with bavarian yeast? in the aroma. what’s a german ipa anyway? look is light...kinda like a hefe. feel light too. flavor is nice, but pretty weak for an ipa. a little bitter in the finish. more lemon than anything else. probably won’t try again."

I might be a little late on this, but hey, this was from April 29, 2014. Sorry for not uploading this sooner. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent hazy orange/glossy brown color with a one finger white foamy head. The lacing was spotty and coating the glass kinda in a messy sort of way. The smell had some lemongrass, lemon and sweet citrus. The taste was there through a sweet and grassy flavoring. On the palate, this one sat fairly light and sessionable. The carbonation was slightly there, I think I was hoping for more harshness, but hey honestly, I’m not gonna argue. Overall, for the most part this was a good AIPA that I could have again.

Pours a golden copper with a frothy white head and tons of lace. Aroma of bit citrus hops, grapefruit, lemongrass, pine, resin and a good balanced of sweet pale caramel malts to support. Taste is big and hoppy lemon hops, grassy, piney and citrusy with caramel malt flavors to balance. Excellent easy drinking ipa.

Grapefruit accent, but a heavier feel than I am normally used to. Not a go to.

Smells like lemon pledge. Very murky pale yellow body. Some yeast chunks floating. Very lemony taste. Bitter beer. Not really that good.
