COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flying Dog Brewery will celebrate its 20th Anniversary a few months early on Friday, September 25th (the brewery turns 20 next year). The brewery will be sampling the new Raging Bitch Belgian-style India Pale Ale at the Flying dog Brats And Gonzo party in Denver that day as part of the Great American Beer Fest happening that week (unscramble the FBAG acronym to get GABF). More info about the fest can be found on the official Flying Dog blog. The beer also appeared on draft at this past weekend’s Gonzofest party. Al from Hop Talk was in attendance and reported on his blog, “I understand it’s made from an augmented Snake Dog wort with an exclusive Belgian yeast strain (called Diablo) and dry-hopped with a load of Amarillo hops. They’re calling it a Belgian IPA. It was really good. It had that hop bite from a big, bad American IPA with the banana and bubblegum from the Belgian yeast.” Some may remember a beer called, Raging Bitch Birch Beer, that Flying Dog introduced on April 1st. Whereas that low-gravity series beer was a joke, this beer is anything but at 8% ABV (60 IBU). Propaganda from the label: “Two inflammatory words…one wild drink. Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. Let it out. It is cruel to keep a wild animal locked up. Uncap it. Release it…stand back! Wallow in its golden glow in a glass beneath a white foaming head. Remember, enjoying a RAGING BITCH, unleashed, untamed, unbridled – and in heat – is pure GONZO!! It has taken 20 years to get from there to here. Enjoy!” – Ralph Steadman

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2023 Flying Dog Raging Bitch IPA. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2023 Förtjänar lite uppmärksamhet. Ett ganska lyckat grepp att brygga en hybrid mellan traditionell mjuk IPA och med en belgisk toppning. Tydlig sötma o vanilj väger mot apelsin och ananas. Men där mitt i allt - en god karamell som på djupet har ett uns Bourbonton.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2023 Pours slightly hazy orange with small white head. Malt, caramel, barnyard, citrus, hop bitterness. Medium body and average carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2022 12-ounce bottle pours clear orange-gold with a 1/16' creamy white head and lots of clingy lacing. Aroma: grapefruit, orange, malt vinegar. Flavor: orange, barnyard, honey, caramel, grapefruit, malt vinegar, toast, white pepper. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a dry finish.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2022 This bottle is coming from the casino, Evian. Opening it on monday for the dinner, enjoying this hot weather. A solid ipa that we could say that it is on the Belgian way. This one is malty, boozy, sweet that it is not common for the style, side of sugar, solid bitterness, citrus, hop. The body is copper and clear with an average carbonation, white foam.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2022 Translucent Amber with thin white head. Medium body with high carbonation. Resinous hop bitterness and caramel malt sweetness behind some phenolic yeast character.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2022 Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus, Pinien und Grapefruit. Mittlere Süße mit hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
