UPDATED: OCT 13, 2023 bottiglia 50 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, color oro pallido limpido, al naso lieviti miele millefiori note floreali, in bocca malto pane bianco miele note erbacee, lieve astringente, carbonazione moderata, corpo medio/leggero, dolce con amaro moderato, media secchezza. UPDATED: MAY 30, 2021 0,5 l bottle purchased far away from Köln at a gas station in the middle of nowehre in Western Lower Saxony. Weird. Clear yellow golden with small one finger head in the glass. Grainy and malt on the nose. Tastes the same with some hop bitterness und fruity. Getting thinner to the end. Okay.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2020 500ml bottle. Faint sherbet, pale leather, blossom and bicarbonate notes. Some wafer and corn like softness and honeyed shrub in the finish. Bright streaming gold with a high tuft. Aroma stale lemon cake, bicarbonate, cereals, paper tissue. Kolsch just doesn’t translate into glass. Alright but looking forward to a Spaten for dessert.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2020 Sehr süffiges Kölsch. Im Antrunk leichte Malzsüße vorhanden, danach im Vordergrund Gras, Heu, Getreide. Feine Hopfennote, nicht zu stark, aber passend zu einem Kölsch. Solides Bier.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2020 Golden straw color with light opalescence and ale foam. Nose. Malt, light fruitiness, hops. Taste. The body is pleasant, slightly creamy. The taste is malt, with obvious floral-fruity notes, hop aftertaste, and very weak Belgian fruit sweetness.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2019 One of the best kölsch i know, matterfact its made outside of cologne in the hills where good water resources (talsperren) build the base for the beer. It has a slight malty overweight (a little malzbier touch) but overall refreshing an good to trink. Tastes better from the cask than bottled. Its harder to get i think theres only one pub (refugium) in cologne where u can get it from the cask. In the hills its more popular.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2019 the aroma is malty and floral with shades of grain, hay, candy and some herbs... the taste is malty and floral with notes of grain, straw, flowers and some grasses... the aftertaste is dry, bitter and, a little bit, sweet...

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an subtle dry bitter taste with some lightly hints of lemon.

Dorée claire quasi limpide, notes malt doux et légère amertume à petite pointe sèche. Pas désagréable. Bouteille 33cl rapporté de Cologne, bue le 01/05/2017.
