mzaar (7475) - Varberg, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2018UPDATED: DEC 10, 2018 Bottle. Pours clear ruby with an off white head. Aromas and flavours of caramel, honey, dates and spices. Alcohol well hidden. Soft texture.
vipinvelp (7125) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2017Suspect this bottle to have leaked somewhat. Dark copper without any foam, beer is bit flat. Warm alcohol feeling. (Velp 201712)
minutemat (14700) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2017330ml bottle from La Case, Caen. Pours a dark brown, off-white head. Aroma of deep caramel, spice, honey. Taste is bitter orange barley wine territory, some spice, fairly sweet, some figs. Decent.
darsh97 (203) - Issy-les-Moulineaux, FRANCE - AUG 18, 2017Hard to find all that is described on the label, namely liquorice, coriander, honey and bitter orange.
Nevertheless a nicely balanced and tasty beer.
Don’t be afraid of the ABV, you really do not feel it.
Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 10, 2016courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear ruby-amber beer with a long lasting beige foam; light bready with notes of pears and figs; full-bodied, too sweet, light grainy, sweetish and ripe fruity finish with notes of brown sugar
Moolesen (1099) - NETHERLANDS - APR 29, 2015Bottle 75cl. Brown with a very small white head. Almost no aroma, but some sourness which does remind me of wild yeast. Definite not my kind of beer. Flavour also has this sourness. Can hardly believe that this beer has 11% alc/vol.
Stuu666 (28638) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2015Bottle at Craig’s. Pours murky amber, nose is spicy, caramel, taste is light fruit, toffee.
ReV2 (262) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2014From the indoor market in Etretat, Normandie. Aroma is sweet alcohol, taste is malt with a hint of sourness, not much in the way of hops, light spice & musty fruit. Drinks way below its strength, something missing.
Noget befriende let drikkeligt over denne stærke Ale.
