_angst_ (5019) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 23, 2017
Bottle received in trade. Deep red pour. 2012 vintage. Rich dark grape nose with black currants, blackberries, leather & light honey. Rich sweet taste with muted acidity. Vicious oily mouthfeel. Plenty of raisins & muted berries. Not very bright but rather quite heavy which works well here with the heavy berry character. Honey is there but plays third fiddle after the raisiny leathery wine and dark berries. Alcohol very well hidden. Tasty stuff!

Big blackberry jam on the front. As we get further into this a prominent pepper note comes in. Alcohol well-hidden. Nice

375ml bottle pours a watery, deep purple. Smells like pancake syrup, blueberries, some orange peel, a little cinnamon. Flavor is sweet and nice, a little merlot grape, blueberry, orange peel, some cardamom. Smooth finish. Loved this.

NobleSquirrel (3437) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle shared by sleestak. Thanks! Pours a deep reddish purple. Still. Nose is super jammy, dominated by blueberry notes. Honey is rich and comes through nicely to support the berries. On tasting, a touch flabby and could use a touch of acidity to round it out. Medium sweet but sits heavy. Good berry flavor but the blackberries seem a bit lost here. Good honey profile as well. Boozy.
