UPDATED: MAR 14, 2021 Peach, apple, caramel malt, light bourbon, and grass aroma. Hazy amber with giant tan head. Moderately sweet peach, orange, apple, caramel malt, and lightly bitter hay/grass flavor. Good body - nice bourbon flavor in the finish. Fruity and pleasant.

PapaSkeetSkeet (1320) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - DEC 3, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2019 Bottle from Fortnight's beer cellar in downtown Providence, RI. Pours clear amber with a condensed-milk colored head, moderate coarseness and poor retention, ends up with a ring after a few tens of seconds. Aroma is bourbon-barrel vanilla with some malt caramel, a bit of grass, some booze, touch of prune. Body is medium-weight, oily, a tad bit syrupy, moderate carbonation and burn, lightly velvety. Flavor is a touch of boozy malt caramel infused with vanilla and bourbon, bit of lightly sweet corn grain in there, some drying grass, almost not detectable bitterness in the finish beyond a toasted biscuity-like note. This is not what I was expecting - the sour mash has produced no noticeable sourness; I'm guessing it is affecting the flavor slightly and has made an otherwise sweet and syrupy beer more balanced and quaffable, but it is not noticeable as it would be in a sour or tart ale. Pretty good, not great

mcberko (41946) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 31, 2018
On tap at Two Roads, pours a hazy dark copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle bourbon notes upfront, without any other character. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle bourbon barrels, with a touch of tart fruit. Nicely done, with a dominating bourbon presence that manages not to overdo it. Solid.

Clear rich copper under a thin foamy ivory head. Nose has a little bourbon and corn malt with a light wheaty pale lager-y base. Smooth full flavor with warming notes of apple pie and bourbon and a touch of corn and brown sugar. Crisp and only semisweet. Interesting and kinda tasty!
