COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful. 11.8°

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2024 So far the best tasting beer I've had. It is worth trying it at least once.

jorgo1985 (364) - - FEB 3, 2024
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2024 Dejlig gær, banan, vanilje duft. Flot højt hvidt skum, meget tåget, lidt bleg. Lækker weissen. Svært at pinpointe noget helt særligt, men god og solid.

maciejgmaciej (3506) - POLAND - NOV 17, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2023 Genialny weizen, idealny w stylu. Bananowo-goździkowy, pełny, lekko kwaskowy na finiszu, wybitnie pijalny i orzeźwiający.

ANZUShophunter (3759) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 28, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2023 From bottle (pkd 17Apr) in weizen. Pours dusty gold w/billowing ivory head of nearly symmetric bubbles despite hard pour. Wheaty aroma w/banana & light lemon, spice, earthy undertones. Creamy mouthfeel dampens wheat tartness; always impressed by German handling of wheat malt

RobBestwick (1416) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 23, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2023 Banana, cloves and yeast aroma. Has a cloudy dark yellow aroma and large and frothy off-white head. Sweet flavour with notes of banana, cloves, citrus and yeast. Medium body. Sweet finish. Very good and drinkable weissbier.

3.3
pictoman (7674) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 30, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2023 Poured from 500mL bottle. Quite hazy golden yellow with white head. Lots of heavy wheat yeast, mild banana, feint metallic note. Would have been great without the metallic note. Maybe it wasn't stored correctly at the store or maybe it's just too old (there's not date listed anywhere on the bottle).

3.6
dragnet101 (4673) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2023 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy gold with small white top. Aroma of banana, wheat, light clove with a nice freshness to it. Taste starts with a citrus and wheat note then some of that banana yeast esters and bread. Medium bodied, some stickiness. Good.
