COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful. 11.8°

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2020 Top notch like many of these german hefeweizens. Not too thick, nice and smooth, creamy and full. Doesn’t stand out like anything spectacular over the other 500 great ones in Germany though. It is light and super drinkable. Graeff Hamburg

piraat83 (150) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - SEP 13, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2020 Pours a pils yellow with a thick white head. Clean, crisp with a slight floral hop spiciness. A hint of lemon citrus. Some banana flavor, but not overwhelming like other wheats. Well crafted, but so drinkable. My favorite Weißbiere.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2020 Bottle at home. Pretty cloudy gold colour, head is quite tame for a hefeweizen Aroma - this shit is the bomb. Im not the biggest fan of esthery flavours, so this is right up my alley - a total wheat bomb. a little banana and spice, but its all wheat. Taste is same, very pasta-esque, almost a little savoury. lovely creamy mouthfeel, even without the typical head. this is the new go-to weissbeer

midovark (3163) - Budapest, HUNGARY - AUG 21, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2020 Bottle shared at work. Pours cloudy orangeish golden with thicc white head. Nose is penholic, estery, bready. Taste is low sweetness, grainy, a beautiful combination of phenols and esters, full of clove and banana. Closes with a long lasting grainy finish, has light but full body, and soft carbonation. Noice.

the-monk-of-beer (2) - Merced, California, USA - AUG 20, 2020 does not count
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2020 A solid wheat beer, there is some spice, strong wheat undertones, the brew is thick and an almost orange tinted Wheat beer. The head is strong at first and the dissipates, the carbonation is clearly natural from the fermentation process, I would be interested as to what type of yeast they utilized, it almost reminds me of the wild strains of yeast, some people are saying hops, but I taste a form of yeast and not actual Hop. It is a very well rounded beer although I fear my liquor mart ripped me off at 6.99(USD) as it looks like it can be bought from drizzly at around $3.50, at $3.50 this is a fantastic beer that I would drink monthly. This beer would pair well with any greasy meal, but would really shine through with a reuben sandwhich and some horse radish dipping sauce, or with a french dip sandwhich. This beers drinkability is average, it should not be pounded, I recommend 15-25 minutes to finish from pour.
