COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful. 11.8°

jamestulloch (5641) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 16, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2019 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Hazy golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, white pepper and coriander. Flavour of grass, underripe pear and pithy lemon. Thin body with a slick texture. Very fizzy. Crisp and clean.

LagerGuide122 (123) - - NOV 10, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2019 500ml bottle brewed in Germany at 5.1%. Dull murky orange, not too much yeast in suspension even with the lot poured in. Citrus, banana and wheat aroma, melded together. Smallish so-so lasting head. Moderate-medium carbonation. Citrus hops, bit of pear as well as banana in the yeast, and nice lingering nuanced wheat malt to round off. Fairly light body for a weissbier, but still has just enough of that foamy mouthfeel to deliver the goods. If you want plenty of flavour but not Erdinger-style super foamy mouthfeel, this is your bag. Ayinger as usual make a distinctive variant of a style while resolutely ticking all that style's boxes. Quality brew, if perhaps with not quite as much body as some fans of the style would prefer; it certainly doesn't fall short on flavour.

weizen-slayer (232) - Passau, GERMANY - OCT 27, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2019 Der Geruch erinnert mich etwas an Most. Geschmacklich fruchtig, spritzig. Eine angenehme bittere Note fällt auf, die einen schönen Gegenpol zur vorhanden Süße bildet. Das Bier bietet außerdem einen guter Kompromiss zwischen Süffigkeit und Substanz. Guter Stoff.

dnicolaescu (3762) - Chi?inau, MOLDOVA - OCT 14, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2019 Cloudy golden, creamy ivory head. Gentle banana smell, light spicy, maybe some paper but clean otherwise. The taste is a pretty regular clean but not outstanding weizen with a touch of cardboard. Ok.

Cybuch (1736) - Muszyna, POLAND - OCT 11, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2019 W aromacie goździk, lekko kwaskowy, pszeniczny, banan, przyjemny. Barwa ciemnożółta, piana ładna. W smaku półwytrawne, goździk, bardzo przyjemnie zbalansowane. Jak te Niemce mają takie weizeny to nie dziwie się się że krafcik nie hula.

Grumpelmies (664) - GERMANY - SEP 3, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2019 Bottle. Pale cloudy yellow/orange with a massive white head. Aroma of clove, banana, wheat, honey and yeast. Taste is citrus fruits, wheat, banana and clove. Slightly herbal and spicy with a distinctive bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. A little bit watery. It's alright and really süffig but not my favorite Weizen.

AleGuru2 (102) - Houten, NETHERLANDS - AUG 26, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2019 I never tire of drinking a good Weizen. This time the honors were for Ayinger Bräuweisse. The first impression is that the beer isn't that yeast-cloudy. And the usual large foam head didn't make her appearance. The smell was a typical weizen though and the taste... It is a good one!

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2019 aromat bardzo dobry balans gozdzika i banana, slodki ale wlasnie przelamany fenolami. Miekkie, lekki, slodowy lekko kwasny. bdb
