nathanvc (5934) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 13, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2023 Bottle from Deconinck. Hazy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of chocolate sauce, coffee cream, mocha, prune, chestnut, vague smoked ham. Taste has sweet prune & fig in a dark-chocolatey, creamy, toasty malt body; some earthy bitter coffee and smoke on the side. Earthy hops in the dry finish with more pronounced bitter coffee grounds, tobacco & ash. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Could have been fuller for all that taste, but simply very good.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2022 Classic porter. Even somewhat light bodied for the style and abv. Firmly hopped and a bit coffee spicy sharp to give it a dry sensation. Middle of norway vinomonopolet

RoJo28 (628) - - APR 3, 2022
UPDATED: APR 3, 2022 Token Porter lightness in the taste, but the palate comes home strong, so the second half is good at least like Matthew McConaughey's career.
