ticklemytastebuds (62) - Virginia, USA - JAN 5, 2023
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2023 I've visited this brewery several times and am always thrilled to go back when I'm Down Under. Cluster 8 is another tasty ipa to enjoy with your mates. Though i prefer Crankshaft and Sprocket better. Cheers!

Grumbo (20029) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2022 3/11/2022. Can from Beer Cartel enjoyed at the Rydges. ACT rating #10. Pours slightly hazy dark orange amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, sweet, malty, citrus, orange, stone fruits, caramel, leaves, light piney spicy edge. Super bittersweet mix. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

Malrider69 (407) - Central Coast, AUSTRALIA - OCT 17, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2022 Pours a straw colour with a significant white coloured head. The aroma is of pine resin and tropical fruit. The taste is of stone fruit, fruity esters and ethanol (a bit overwhelming). There is some initial sweetness before a moderate bitterness kicks in and it is long-lasting on the palate. In summary an okay beer, but the ethanol taste detracts from the overall quality.

nickd717 (10342) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 20, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2020 Draft at the brewery. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, resin, candied orange peel. Big sweet candied citrus and sweet syrupy resin flavor, medium bitter. Medium plus body, syrupy. Solid

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2020 I’ve gotta admit I was pretty nervous at the start of this, like when my cousin Darren’s new girlfriend Kaytlyn starts to recite her favourite joke after a few shandies at Christmas lunch, but the finish is as if the punchline contained a considered political insight, interwoven with an oddly appropriate Shakespeare quote

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2020 Beer Number From Brewery: 15 Container Type: Can Date Drank: 13 March 2020 Purchase Location: Liquorland Aroma: Hoppy but not as hoppy as I was expecting Appearance: Deep amber almost copper colour, tight head of foam Flavour: A mix of pine and tropical fruit Mouthfeel: Resinous and oily Comments: Hides the alcohol well as his certainly didn’t taste or feel like an almost 9% beer

ALLOVATE (3849) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 3, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2019 Bargain basement of my local 1st Choice, but oddly fresh off the canning line. Into a snifter chilled. Radiant, ruddy amber with very fine, intermittent carbonation. Head goes up and then fades with similar pace. Nose rings of sweet mango flesh, spicy marmalade, pawpaw, grapefruit, a touch of biscuity malts and heaving alcohol which aides nicely. Big, bursting citrus on the palate with a peaking, bitter fruit finish and warming length. Piney and woody undertones with a hint of roasted peanuts. Biscuity front which fades into fruit. Sticky but not overly sweet. Body is solid but not cumbersome and the carbonation sprightly. The fruit of the nose melds well. Very clean and streamlined. A likeable brew!!!! (37,5cL can, PKD 08/08/19, 1st Choice Liquor Riverton)

KeefOz (3848) - TARRAGINDI, AUSTRALIA - SEP 15, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2019 BB 07 08 20. From a can poured a slightly hazy golden amber with 2cm of beige open foam that diminished slowly to a blotchy cap that laced well. Carbonation high, lively and medium to coarse. Aroma of pine, sweet dried white fruits and hints of tropical fruits; alcohol well hidden. Taste of sweet caramel malt with hints of citrus and tropical fruits; well balanced; alcohol well hidden; low to moderate bitterness; just enough sweetness, just enough bitterness. Medium body. Smooth with a slightly oily mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Easy drinking.

Lunkie (2594) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 22, 2019
