UPDATED: MAY 5, 2022 FOUR stars? For a low carb beer? Lets be honest, this is a a beer with 1.7 grams carbs. We can't compare it to a stout. This is a beer you drink when you trying to lose some of that beer gut. It's light, refreshing when ice cold. I can't tase chocolate, vanilla, toffee or coffee beans in this ( I can't taste them in other beers either!) This beer tastes clean, refreshing and like.... beer! It also gives you a nice buzz, if you haven't eaten much. This is good enough for me- 3.5 grams carbs for a couple of beer, a pleasant taste and a light buzz. So, for what it is, I'm rating it 4 stars.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2020 Clean and very light. Bland bland bland. Light grains. Refreshing. But it's low carb so can't expect much. Not terrible but not good either

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2019 Pale straw color. Almost no head. No aroma. No taste either. Amazingly bland and flavorless. Remarkable achievement to brew a shitty beer and remove all taste at the same time.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 Having ordered this in a Shanghai bar serving international beers, I was expecting a Belgian type blonde, but was disgusted to be confronted with a low carb lager. It had a funny unnatural side-taste.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2019 Low carb mainstream larger. Is likely going to be exactly as mundane as you are imagining it is. Similar to a slightly yeasty Mt franklin. Doesn't bloat you though, ever.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2019 Aroma of nectarine and chalk duster. The taste is very dry, low bitterness.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2019 Basic taste profile, with a watery finish. Nothing special about it, however not an offensive taste.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2019 A truly offensive tasting beer. Seems like Carlton has just emptied out the brewery floor mop bucket water into a bottle and called it beer. Taste of sour grains and incredibly watery. Absolutely no body to the beer whatsoever, also overly carbonated. Comparatively there are other better tasting beers that have the same energy/carb level. Ironiack for instance is by no means a well flavoured beer however it has roughly the same amount of carbs but a better rounded, less watery taste.
