UPDATED: APR 6, 2024 6/4/2024. Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, hoppy, grainy, fruity edge. Quite sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, sparkling carbonation. Sweet caramel finish. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2024 Barva zlatava, zakalena. Pena nizka a hned pryc. Vune slad, kvasnice, psenice? Telo malo plne az vodove. Chut slad, dojezd horky suchy, trocha divnoocas, travovy, sviravy, horkost ulpiva, vyssi stredni. Takovy vodovy divno ale. Ale da se, hlavne kdyz je dost chladny.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2024 Bottle, 375 ml from Drinkers Paradise, Kentish Town. Appearance is mid / orange gold, slightly hazy. Large head when poured, which reduces fairly swiftly. Mouthfeel is a little on the thin side of medium. Aroma is cereal with a little hop. Taste : cereal with hops (slight) in the background.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2024 En pinta, color dorado oscuro, turbio, espuma blanca de baja retención. Aroma sutil pero agradable, ligeramente floral, con notas de cereal y un punto afrutado. En boca es de cuerpo ligero a medio, refrescante, notas de lúpulo floral, algo cítrica y afrutada. Personalmente la considero una cerveza rica, sencilla y fácil de beber, se disfruta muy bien.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2024 Tomada en vaso. Suave, fresca y muy rica. El ser sin filtrar le aporta, de alguna manera, un toque más auténtico.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2023 Straight from the bottle, from the discount shelf at Fountainhall Wines, Aberdeen. It is probably pale yellow/gold/blonde with a white head of some sort. The aroma is fairly dull, muted, papery, grass, green, toasty grain and some sweet rich tea biscuit. The taste is dry upfront, fairly crisp, bitter - sweet, grassy, leafy, green veg, rich tea biscuit, grain, slightly soapy, musty and earthy with a dry, grainy/veggy finish. Average body and carbonation. This is some basic stuff. Would not return to it.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2023 Keg at the Mitre Tavern, Melbourne. Hardly a pale ale and more of a lager with some interesting more aley tones - perhaps the yeast? Saved some dollars and will need to try again.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2023 Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Misty gold with small white top, minor retention. Aroma of caramel and wafer, fairly sweet with some floral hops. Crisp carbonation bite. Quite simple in taste also - reasonable pale malts with light grassy, light apricot and floral hopping. In modern terms its between a lager and pale ale but probably closer to the former. Very quaffable on that basis

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2022 Floral-herbal hopping, clean malty (slightly dry and sweetish) taste with light hops, pleasant bitter aftertaste. Massmarket pale ale aspiring to become a lager)) Normally, but no more, any Briton is more interesting.
