UPDATED: FEB 13, 2023 Bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Hazy red brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dried fruit and yeasty. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 130223

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2022 Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Ruby colour, minor head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some toffee, spices, alcohol and a bit banana as well. Flavour is alcohol, ripe fruits, spices, some yeast and mild toffee to it. Quite a bodied and tasty brew. Has a rather storng bananaish edge to it.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2021 Well stored bottle. Clear deep amber body under a lacing, moderate sized tan head. Aroma of sweetish malt, dry fruit, raisins and warming alcohol. Taste is very sweet and alcoholic, dry fruit and malt syrup. Full bodied with sweet and alcoholic aftertaste. Works as a sipper in the start, but ends up way too sweet and alcoholic for me.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2019 Bottle, at Brasserie Posten. 2018 vintage. An unclear brown beer with a reddish tint. A small beige head forms on top. The aroma has quite a lot of dried fruits, with caramel, some brown sugar, hints of alcohol and a touch of grassy, piney hops. It's full bodied, sweet, quite warming and nicely carbonated, still smooth on the palate, with a light bitterness bringing some balance to the accounts. Caramel, dried fruits and some roasted malts have company of brown sugar, chocolate and a touch of coffee in the flavor. Alcohol too. Lasting finish. A very pleasant and clean quad that would probably benefit from some cellaring. 190814

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 Dark amber pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness for a beer like this. Oily texture. Dried fruits, toffee, nutty and mild vinous. Fine ok evening sipper.

Mahognibrun med lavt skum. Mye marsipan, litt banan sammen med tørket frukt og karamell i duft og smak. Tykk munnfølelse.
