UPDATED: OCT 19, 2022 Classic West Coast IPA, hitting all the right notes—resin, grapefruit, caramel, and pine, with a lingering bitterness on the finish and citrus pith in the fade. Just a damn fine pint.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2022 It pours yellow and clear with a white head. Head retention is excellent. It has aromas of grapefruit, resin, and other citrus. There are some low floral notes and very low pine. It has grapefruit and orange flavors. There are some pine , floral, and resin in support. There is a touch of grainy malt. It has a medium body with a pleasant bitter finish. Overall, the hops flavors work well together for this classic West Coast IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2022 Nice old school west coast IPA aroma. Light golden color with a bright white head. Nice hoppy taste, but not overwhelming. Slightly bitter finish. Overall a very good and well balanced beer.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2022 1 pint bottle. Pours a clear gold to amber; just the right amount of white head; surprisingly low levels of hop aroma, should be mostly grapefruit and mango-ish; taste of quite sweet malt, balanced and firm but not overpowering resin at the finish. Low levels of carbonation and rather thick mouthfeel. Such a well-balanced IPA that's all perfect - these are definitely not easy to come by.

Hits all the notes of the west coast IPA. It is nutty and piney and golden. It's hoppy and dry. Crisp and very balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2022 Full and balanced. Some bready earthiness with pine and citrus zest. A mildly bitter and dry hoppy finish.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2022 Bottle. Translucent gold with a medium white head that has good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with mixed citrus and a bit of soapy cotton candy. The taste is a nice balance of grapefruit and pine with bitterness provided by lemon pith. The palate is a bit on the lighter side with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with a bit of lingering bitterness. Overall: Decent. I love revisiting an old classic and discovering that it is just as good as it ever was.
