Belcebooze (335) - Sevilla, SPAIN - JUN 11, 2020

snowcrash000 (2276) - Cologne, GERMANY - AUG 18, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2019 Pours a brown'ish deep, dark amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of bready malt and juniper, with just a hint of citrus coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, with with the bready malt and juniper dominating, but with a stronger citrus fruit: orange note coming through, as well as quite a spicy rye presence and lighter herbal accents. Finishes quite dry, with a light bitterness and tartness, as well as some juniper lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with amedium body and light/medium carbonation. I never had an Agua de Valencia, so I can't be sure how well they managed to emulate the eponymous Spanish cocktail here, or where the Juniper comes in, for that matter, however this seems kinda undercarbonated and lacking in a strong orange note for what they are going for. Still, it's a rather interesting concotion that, while heavy on the juniper and rye malt, is still well-balanced, with quite a dry and slightly tart character a light orange juice note and strong spicy/herbal accents.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2019 On tap at Chinaski Lavapies, Madrid. Pours hazy bronze with a little white head. The aroma features strong spiciness, especially juniper, and sweet maltiness. Taste is dryish, crisp and very spicy. Flavours of juniper and floral hoppiness fill the mouth. The palate is medium-bodied, velvety smooth, low to average carbonation. Very spicy saison.

EvNa (4747) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - APR 7, 2019
UPDATED: APR 7, 2019 Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Herbal, malt, salty hints. Taste: Malty, wheat and herbal, floral notes, pretty strong yet subtle notes of orange, subtle notes of juniper. Moderate to medium sweet, lightly sour and salty and light to moderate bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Pretty dense mouthfeel, probably caused by the use of rye malt and orange. Complex, unusual, refreshing. Pretty dry mouthfeel. Likeable.
