MicroGrog (3255) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 28, 2022
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2022 Relatively. heavy crew cap bottle from Finger Lake Bev. They also had the yellow wax version. No easy & obvious production date on these. Had a code: 72131. Lo-ball glass at the hotel, a few hours before my flight back home. Clear, dark, maple syrup pour. Macerated & cooked apples. Lemon & sweet tea nose. Rounded, boiled down bittersweet apple, poke-y but overall weak acid, sweet lemon, tannic sweet tea, paper, corn, caramel, faint oxidation. Lush, moderate acid, low to moderate tart, whatever abv. Very plush. Not bad at all. Needs more contrast. Want something more.

Zlotta (8989) - Hagen, GERMANY - AUG 25, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2020 0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', 2015 vintage at 6% abv, cellared for two-and-a-half years. Almost clear, deep reddish amber with a few off-white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, minimally sourish, gently fruity aroma of ripe apples, light vanilla, some walnut and a touch of wood. Fairly sweet, minimally sourish, quite fruity taste of ripe apples, raisins, brown sugar, vanilla, wood and walnut, followed by a short, intensely sweetish, minimally tartish and a little woody finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Overall quite sweet but simply delicious.

Sampled thanks to SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts 2018, Day 1. Clear amber color. Aroma is sweet super ripe apple or maybe even somewhat sugary. Flavor also has super ripe apple as well as light sugary notes. Quite pleasant.

Ysok02 (3283) - Mons, BELGIUM - SEP 7, 2018

Taster, courtesy of SinH4, many thanks! Pours clear amber. Aroma is dusty intense apples. Body is mealy, intense, flat, sweet and tart, apple pie, fortified apple. Becomes less intense after the aroma, but still pleasant. Good!
