This is a Batch 2 bottle:
When I popped the cap, it started to *slowly* gush but not a drop was lost!
A hazy straw yellow colour, the foam was about an inch deep max with some good lacing.
The smell is very nice! Some tartness, some fruitiness that's mostly citrus lemon and grape I think, and a good amount of a nose brought on by the Brett. This one smells delicious.
The taste has a very tasty tartness up front with good notes of lime with some lemon, grape that is semisweet, wood, some Brett that is more noticeable in the nose than the taste but yeah, it's there. Ahhh. No sign of the alcohol at all in either the nose or the taste and that kicks up the drinkability big time.
Mouthfeel falls just short of medium with the carbonation being on the lighter side of heavy and man that works for me. It finishes with a mix of tartness and slight funk and has a rather short lived aftertaste. Great brew here!!
Btw, second pour got it all cloudy and the foam left right after I put the bottle down so...it's not the best looker in a glass(cloudy is fine by me) but it sure makes up for it with the smell and taste. This 750ml bottle will be doubly easy to finish and I plant it firmly in the "exceptional drinkability" category.
Bottom line: When I look to try an American Wild Ale, I want all sorts of flavours and smell to go on and *this* one fits the bill superbly! I cannot recommend this brew highly enough!! I once again salute Captain Lawrence for their brewing skills!! trapped (3786) - New York, TURKEY - NOV 21, 2017

Sampler at Malted Barley. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Notes of white wine, wood, and Brett on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. As others have noted this is seriously crushable which kind of sucks considering how expensive it is. Bamsen78 (5617) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2017
Draught @ Roasthouse, Frederick, MD. Pours hazy pale straw with airy white head. Clear, vinous aroma with notes of yeast and malty touches. Dusty, rough and spicy onset, giving way to vinous notes and touches of hops. Lingering, dry aftertaste with notes of cloves and yeast. Very good. shadey (2171) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 10, 2017
750ml bottle. Clear gold pour with almost no head and lots of effervescent. Definitely sour aroma with some nice grape notes. Solid brett character, but the grapes have presence and the oak is just noticeable in the finish. Nice and refreshing.
