Belle amertume en équilibre. mkcmagico (516) - Mezokövesd, HUNGARY - MAY 31, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2019 0,75 bottle. Kiváló a lecsengés, egyre több utóíz érződik. Icipicit savanykás. Ebből két üveg egy egész estés élménynem tökéletes :) Most már nagy bevásárló központban is fellehető! Hajrá! Pinball (13019) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2019 bottle from a supermarket in paris.
clear yellow, small white head.
aroma of citrus and sugar, malts, yellow fruity flowery note, much like a belgian blonde or belgian triple.
Flavor is malty, flowery, balanced by bitter flavorless hops, alc bitterness can also be tasted. quite mild and rounded flavor and feel overall though. This could do as a replacement for a belgian triple, but it's nothing special. It is one of the better biere de garde i have tasted. Clear golden pour with fluffy white head.
Sweet, slight orange, slight metallic note with underlying booziness. Jabah (2110) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - FEB 28, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2019 Glad I got this on clearance for 50% off, as I would not have paid the full $10. If I did pay the $10, would not have been pleased. Guess it was worth the fin though. Brought to a July 4th party and shared with the host and one of his friends. Had to drink it out of a plastic cup though, which may have hurt this sample a bit. Calling this a golden ale, but had some witbier qualities as well. Also reminded me of an imperial pilsner. Alcohol is hidden well, and a very light feel for this strength. Ok for sharing just to try, but so much other stuff out there.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2019 75cl bottle from Hop Malt Market, Paris (€3.95):goozen (4500) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2018
Floral & lively with a lot of spice showing, the beer was very strongly carbonated without being gassy & it proved quite easy to drink despite the alcohol content too, the majority of the alcohol seemingly well masked for the most part. It was very similar to a lot of other Bière de Garde's I tried in France with some biscuit & earthy hops showing at times but it wasn't a bad beer at all.
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2018 Bottle with cork 0,75ltr: Clear golden colored firm sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel, citrus with herbs and spices. I drunk lot of this and know that i rated it before, but the case is it isn't. I went even to the village in French-Flanders to buy it and its brothers. So i now did. UPDATED: DEC 15, 2018 Copenhagen 15/12 2018, 75 cl bottle from Vinbørsen. Cork rammes into the bottle with metal clamp. Sketchy Drawing of Three Hills on the yellow label. Presented in the shop as “The Best beer in the Flandres” - from the French part at least.
Pours clear yellow with medium-sized head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is strong, sweetish and malty. Sweet malts intermingling with lighter grassy bitterness. Hints of lemon. Strong presence of alcohol providing lightly, metallic backbone.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture. Tingling sensation.
Flavor is fairly sweet but not cloying. Followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitterish and a little metallic. Fairly short.
Well balanced boozy blonde beer. Clean and Chrispan. Quite malty but with some bitterness for balance. marchbrown (90) - - NOV 21, 2018

Outstanding taste. Great finish with hidden herbal tones which emerge on the finish. rumore (1724) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 20, 2018
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2018 33cl bottle from Iperconad, Rimini, Italy. Pours fully crisp, brilliant gold, with medium-high heat of white foam, very fine. Aroma is honey all the way, grainy. Overall, too sweet. Body is average with fizzy carbonation, almost suffocating. Taste is pretty sweet. Finish fairly long and sweet too.
