COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A collaboration made with Titletown Brewing Co. , Green Bay, Wisconsin Demon Juice is a beer born out of friendship across borders. Back in 2016 Jacqueline Weycker, out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was an exchange student in Copenhagen, living with a host family at Amager. Jacqueline – or Jackie – came from a brewing background as back in 1996, her dad, Brent had founded one of the earliest craft breweries back home in Green Bay: Titletown Brewing Co, located in an old train depot registered in the National Register of Historic Places. Knowing her interest in beer and brewing, her Danish host family took her to Amager Bryghus where she immediately became a friend and volunteer pouring beer at a couple of Amager events with the skill and professionalism that only an upbringing in the beer world can give you! In the spring of 2019 Jackie messaged us, telling that she was gonna be back in Europe, this time bringing her whole family on a holiday. We quickly arranged a stop-over in Denmark, this time to make an official collaboration beer between Titletown and Amager. And so it was that on May 13th no less than 5 representatives of the Weycker family, led by Jackie and her dad Brent, came to brew Demon Juice over a breakfast loaded with plenty of danishes. As Amager, like Green Bay, is a proud location for American football, we named the beer with a friendly nod at our very own local football heroes, the Amager Demons.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2024 0,44l Dose. Danke Änne! Milchig trüb gelb. Weisser wolkiger Schaum. Hefe und Hopfenduft. Citrus, tropisch. Antrunk charaktervoll! Reifes Obst, Hopfen und sehr würzige ungewöhnliche Hefe. Fast ein Hauch Rauch. Macht Spass

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2024 Draught @Amager Bryghus Taproom, Nørreport. Hazy yellow with an off white head. Tropical fruit aroma with pineapple dominant along with tangerine and the scentbof spring. Sweet and fruity with a balanced bitterness. Really pleasant.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2024 Hazy citrongult med stort fluffigt skum. Doften av citron, apelsin och ananas sprider sig långväga vid upphällning. Smaken motsvarar, adderar ett uns tall och mango. Lätt, fin beska.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2023 Can. Hazy golden pour. Aroma of pineapple juice, bready malt, orange zest, mango, passion fruit and citrus. Taste has herbal orange, mango, pineapple juice, biscuity malt, cookies, passion fruit, peach and citrus. Not bad, but would have liked more bitterness.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2023 A hazed milky orange ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with tropical fruits, dank resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light peated notes, light cereals, very nice. On tap at Nørreport location.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2023 White head, gone in seconds over fully hazy yellow beer. Citrus, saliva, dry herbs, citruspeel. I get an impression of bicarbonate. Meaty esters, even just a tad smoked, bitter, citruspeel. Faint diary, if neutral. More than medium bodied, very slick, good carbonation. I think Amager has done much better than this. UPDATED: SEP 10, 2023 Aroma of ripe orange fruits, tangerine, grapefruit. Taste of ripe oranges, mild grapefruit, tangerine. Moderate bitterness.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2023 Can. Cloudy amber, white foam. Fermenting tropical fruit salad, pineapple, peach, starfruit. Medium to full fruit juice base, mellow mouthfeel. Orangepeel bitterness, pithy notes, pine resin. Citric finish.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2023 Can. An unclear yellow beer with an orange tint. Minimalistic white head. Tropical, grapefruity aroma. Some grape and melon notes. It's dry and medium to full bodied, softly carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Tropical fruit, some pine cones and grapefruit. Hints of pale malts and honeydew melon. Quite short finish. Quenching and easy drinkable, but nothing special going on. 230910
