COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ve made it to 547 Haight Street. This destination is more San Francisco than Rice A Roni, Chinatown, and Lombard Street combined. Welcome to Broadway for brewers everywhere. Everyone who is anyone has poured their kegs here. For the last 20 years, this place has launched careers, confirmed legacies, and since 1987 the only name you need to know is David Keene. Take a seat. Tip Strong. Nod appreciatively and don’t ask stupid questions. Welcome to Big Daddy’s House known to most simply as "The T-Room." Here the bartenders are fluent in English, German, Flemish, French, Waloon and Czech. But they’re most known for their American Lip Service. Watch it. The lady with the jet black hair behind the bar eats idiots for lunch. At 547 Haight Street, you won’t find any Cable Cars except for this one. But if you’re standing outside the Dutch Doors of the World Famous Toranado, you surely found the most interesting place in all San Francisco. Its’ about RESPECT. Dave you continue to have ours. Here’s to 20 more years of punishing livers everywhere. Cheers Gina, Jim, Tomme, Vince and the Brewers of Port Brewing

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2021 vintage 2020 Appearance: Pours hazy bright golden. Tiny white head, no lacing. 外观:亮金色,朦胧。微量白色泡沫,无挂杯。 4/5 Aroma: Grapefruit, meyer lemon, blood orange, yellow apple, caramel, sweet malt, grain, vinegar and clove, with hints of barnyard funk. 气味:西柚、香柠檬、血橙、黄苹果、焦糖、甜麦芽、谷物、香醋和丁香,伴随着些许马厩味。 8 Juicy yellow fruits and citric fruits with vinegar and hints of oak. Initial refreshing sweetness followed with angular acidity. Citric tart finish with hints of malt. 4/5 Overall: The fruits are ripe, ripe enough for a wild ale at least. Here goes pleasantness, isn't it? Not bad in other ways either, balanced, proper acidity - the only thing is the short finish, and perhaps a bit thin on palate... 果味很熟,至少对于野菌这个风格来说是够熟的了,愉悦度这不就有了?其它方面也不差啊

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2019 October 16th, 2015 - This 2014 Cable Car is nothing short of a work of art. A gorgeous rich blonde color, the experience starts with the aroma. Oh sweet, heavily ambrosia. Real vanilla and custard on the top, followed by a ginger note, then braised pear. The bouquet continues with clove, all-spice and a dash of saffron, and finally a cooling aroma of oatmeal. The flavor definitely distinguishes this beer as a sour ale, but the balance between acidity and other flavors is masterful. A long saffron taste pairs with the sourness and is followed by a lemon zest aftertaste. Between sips my mouth warmths with the taste of shortbread, but that breaks with each sip as well, as muscat grape cleanses the palate to make way for each new round of the complex flavors. Truly an exceptional brew.

Moderately tart with lightly sweet notes of peach and apricot and subtle brett. Light acidity throughout with a mild sparkling finish. Simple but it works really well.
