Hazy straw yellow in color... Aroma of fleshy stone fruit, peach, apricot, noyaux, funk, lime and grapefruit zest... Light bodied and refreshing, moderate acidity, lots of citrus, lemony notes, funk... Delicious

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2019 October 16th, 2015 - This 2014 Cable Car is nothing short of a work of art. A gorgeous rich blonde color, the experience starts with the aroma. Oh sweet, heavily ambrosia. Real vanilla and custard on the top, followed by a ginger note, then braised pear. The bouquet continues with clove, all-spice and a dash of saffron, and finally a cooling aroma of oatmeal. The flavor definitely distinguishes this beer as a sour ale, but the balance between acidity and other flavors is masterful. A long saffron taste pairs with the sourness and is followed by a lemon zest aftertaste. Between sips my mouth warmths with the taste of shortbread, but that breaks with each sip as well, as muscat grape cleanses the palate to make way for each new round of the complex flavors. Truly an exceptional brew. tiong (11690) - Espoo, FINLAND - DEC 1, 2019

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2019 Bottle that I have wanted to try for years, thanks for sharing Markwise: Poured a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is pungent sour fruits, oaky, barnyard. Taste was lip puckering sour fruit, oaky wood tingle, lots of sourness. jc1762 (2290) - JAPAN - OCT 18, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2019 Taster showing deep gold with no head.
The nose shows medium plus intense and lightly tart notes of peach and apricot.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with lightly sweet notes of peach and apricot and subtle brett. Light acidity throughout with a mild sparkling finish. Simple but it works really well.
