Bottle share at CCCM for mead-off. Pours a deep, still Amber. Aroma is sweet honey, toffee, and lightly floral. Sweet, waxy honey dominates the taste, with floral and fruit elements. Medium-full mouthfeel. Solid polish-style mead.

Tasted on 1/3/12 from a bottle. Pours clear honey orange, still with no head. The nose is very honeyed, sweet golden raisin, quite vinous, with a hint of vanilla. The flavor is very sweet honey soaked golden raisin, a touch of vanilla, and a nice vinous note. The body is full and syrupy, flat, with a long sweet honeyed vanilla finish.

Pours a Amber gold. Aroma of honey, caramel, brown sugar. Taste follows, sweet honey, caramel. Sweet brown sugar. Alcohol is hidden, really smooth. One of the most honey forward meads I’ve ever had. Solid.

Bottle from Hopscotch. Thanks Eric. The mead looks like a slick cognac. Clear amber. It has strong honey notes with some nutty and ripe fruity notes. The flavor is sweet toasted and ripe fruity with light marble and wood notes. Not much booze. Great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a bottle of this I shared at dark horse plead the fifth day last year. Large honey nose, sweet honey flavor, one of the best tasting straight honey meads I have ever had. Hope to get some more from my next Tampa trader.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy goldenish wooden brown with no head worth mentioning. Smell is sweet with craploads of honey, charred wood, crackers, lemon zest, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is sweet with sweet dark bread, lots of honey, raisins, St Johns wort, vanilla, charred wood, moist soil and hints of mushrooms. Mouthfeel is round, sticky sweet and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet with honey, charred wood, raisins, vanilla, moist soil and alcohol. Very tasty and reminds you alot about the two Polish meads we tried earlier this evening.
