UPDATED: NOV 26, 2021 Draught at Aarhus Street Food Very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma is sweet yeasty, notes of milk, slight roasted. Taste is sweet, slightly roasted, notes of vanilla, coffee, slightly bitter finish. Texture is oily, low carbonation. 6-5-7-4-14

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2020 Mørk, næsten sort stout med et flot og cremefarvet skum. En stout med stor fylde, krydret med stjerneanis og fennikelfrø. En sprød lækker jule stout - som du aldrig har fået den før. Beskrivelsen rammer fint - den er mørk, med en fin etikette af en mørkglødet julemand, dejligt brunt hoved, med aroma af kakao lidt stjerneanis og fennikel. Der kunne dog godt have været krydret lidt mere. Det er en mediumbody, som ikke har så stærk en smag. Den er ret blød, næsten pastry. Den har næsten ingen eller mild carbonation. Den går godt med popcorn, eller alene.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2020 Black with a brown head. Aroma of oil, liqourice, fennel, aniseed, dark-roasted bread, rubber and alcohol. Moderately sweet, with a lingering finishing dryness.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2019 A danish, cloudy, dark brown X-mas Stout with star anise and fennel, and with light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, liqourice, light caramel, light raisin. Taste is bitter sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2018 500ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with slightly late awakening, small to average, thick, creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, a touch of nougat and toffee, some coffee, very cautious spicy overtones. Taste is slightly bitter, roasty dark malty and minimally spicy, notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, a cautious, spicy touch of aniseed. A bit simple and restricted.
