COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on a classic chocolate stout is brewed with imported Dutch chocolate for a colossal chocolate flavor. The addition of a nitro charge blends the flavors up creating a smooth creamy chocolate experience that you’ll never want to end. Chocolate Stout Nitro is ebony in color, pours a velvety smooth and creamy head that cascades into a robust, earthy body giving way to a rich chocolate truffle finish.

ryanhunter_4 (1062) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2023 473 ml can poured at home. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Smells like milk chocolate. Taste is thin with chocolate malt and molasses. Kind of disappointing because I really love their chocolate stout.

Hrabren (8123) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 11, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2023 0.473 nitro can shared with Marko and little Dina at the Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Hazy dark brown to black, small creamy beige head. Intense artificial chocolate aroma. Burnt chocolate fondue aroma. Thin, a bit bland. Terribly sweet. Burnt. Roasty, chocolate. Finishes bittersweet.

Marko (17941) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 11, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2023 Can at Goblet ZG. Very dark brown body, nitro beige head. Sweetish, dusty aroma, caramelly, light nutty and chocolate notes. Soft lean, empty taste, nutty, lightly roasty, hazelnut and chocolate, ends lightly dry. Dunno, wasn't improved any with nitro.

tennessejed420 (942) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2023
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2023 Can pours a rich dark brown color with creamy persisting tan brown head into mason jar. Rich malty nose, earthy chocolate, roast, touch of lactose, simple but pure. Easy to drink, with taste mimicking the nose. Very enjoyable.

Erzengel (14474) - Saarland & Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2023
UPDATED: JAN 10, 2023 440ml can. Great liquid chocolate. Soft, hints of roast. Tons of deep melted chocolate. Milk chocolate, cream. Soft roasted bitter chocolate in the aftertaste. Great smooth cold chocolate.

DrnkMcDermott (4242) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - NOV 18, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2022 Draft at Ballydoyle. Very much not an Irish stout. Thick and creamy tan head over a black beer body. Smell has some strong chocolate notes, but does not match up to the nice flavor. Rather, it's a rich stout with a nice side of cocoa. Some sour cherry at the edge, but well mixed in. Thick mouthfeel flags this as an appropriate winery weather stout without venting into immortal territory.

hawthorne00 (8502) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 6, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2022 Now I feel compelled to tick this separately. Chocolate and spicy aroma with some brioche. Rich but a touch of orange and a little bitterness keep it from being too sweet. Perhaps the nitro makes it feel a tad flabby. Still like this whether or not it's a new tick.

slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2022 On tap - was excited to try but it didn't work. Flat instead of smooth, chocolate was present but also didn't seem terribly fresh. Would try again.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2022 Poured from 473mL can (canned 03/11/2022). Near black with small beige head. Light baking chocolate, light creaminess, hint of tobacco, fairly mild overall. Average.

BelgianBeerGal (6322) - Panama City, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2022
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2022 Can compliments of Zac he sent home with me from Oregon. Pours out like a typical nitro stout: dark brown with a long lasting tan head of tiny bubbles. Flavor is sweetened coffee with caramel malt and bittersweet chocolate. Flavor is lightly nutty, with a hint of bitterness from unsweetened chocolate and espresso. Sweetness lingers longer than any bitterness. Enjoyable and relatively light.
