UPDATED: MAY 5, 2024 The best go to tbh. Better and cheaper than other American lagers, and has the history of being America's oldest. You can't go wrong.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2023 Btl 2 glass, pours a crystal clear amber color with a big, compact off white head that’s leaves strips of lace on glass. Aromas of toast, hints of perfume, floral & herbal notes. Tastes of bread, caramel and spices. Soft mouthfeel, Nice carbonation, medium body and a slightly dry mildly bitter finish. I can’t believe I’ve never rated this beer and what’s more unbelievable is you can’t get this beer in New Mexico! This beer is fantastic!

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2023 12 oz bottle poured at Cindi’s house. Pours amber with a white head. Smells like yeast. Taste is malty with a caramel finish. Pretty good for a macro.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2023 Old Untappd checkin, January 22, 2016. Green glass bottle. Pours a deep amber color with a moderate, frothy tan head. Aroma and flavors are predominately of sweet malts, a bit bready, and little to no bitterness. Full bodied flavor, medium carbonation finish. To me, this is the quintessential cheap American beer, and one of the best lagers I've ever had.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2023 Yuengling Traditional Lager is not only from America’s oldest brewery, but also a very tasty beverage. I like the look of the bottles, and I love that it’s family owned. The alc/vol could be a tad bit higher, but you really can’t beat the price. This is America’s beer! Alc/Vol: 4.5% Price: Bottom Shelf Rating: 3/5

BenDover (478) - League City, Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 21, 2023 An amber lager, not unlike Killian's Red. Sweet and malty, honestly just a tad cloying, with that 'cheap' taste that some beers have when made with some fillers like corn or rice.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2023 More of an old school american lager. Nice color darker than what I would expect but still very lagery. Nice balance with hops.

It’s either the best lager I have ever had or the second. The color of the beer alone is spectacular. This is also my first beer from the state of Pennsylvania. Also fun fact this beer boasts about being one the original breweries in USA. R. Yes I would love to have this beer again and I’m looking forward to trying it again one of these days.
