caribou43 (2843) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 29, 2023UPDATED: MAY 29, 2023 I bought this bottle at Amstein, St-Légier. Opening and enjoying this can, yesterday, at Epalinges, after a long day at the swimming pool with my son. Perfect at night, smooth weather and generous black ipa, well done, roasted malt, good touch of coffee, bourbon, malty, cocoa, really tasty, hop, subtle bitterness, rich, aromatic, a bit sweet, syrupy, almost perfect for me.

GreenCat (672) - SLOVENIA - AUG 28, 2022UPDATED: AUG 28, 2022 0,355 l can. Pours black with big, light tan frothy lasting head. Aroma is actually quite subdued. Some toasted malts, dark chocolate, slightly fruity hop notes. Flavor however packs a punch, toasted malts, dark chocolate, black coffee due to heavy bitterness and mild sweetness. Finish is long, flavors fade before final bitter kick. Starts sublime, but ends brash!
