Rune	3.7 Jopen Bake My Day BA Oloroso & Leidag 330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Tan, bubbly head over a near-black body, clingy lacing. Promising aromas of roasted chocolate with a peaty touch. Rich taste profile of cocoa chocolate, oak, and dried fruits on a lactose backbone. Roasted dark chocolate malts to the ending with warmth from the alcohol, in fact, quite boozy. Nice slow sipper on a Saturday afternoon. watching football on TV. (Tromsø, 15.06.2024). Sigmund	3.3 Jopen Blurred Lines 330 ml can, as Jopen Blurred Lines Juicy IPA, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 5.3%. Moderately hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma of melon, over-ripe pineapple and papaya. The flavour is citric and not too sweet, hints of yellow stonefruits, low bitterness. Easy drinking, refreshing. Friday, June 14, 2024

Bitterish-fruity, also loam, putty, and other grains, oats in particular. Exotic fruits, or rather , their peel(s). 5.3% would warrant some more body, IMO, feels even a more than a tad watery. Inviting peaty aromas with chocolate malts. Well blended taste of dark chocolate, peat, prunes, and toffee, oaky. Bourbon hints to a smoked malty finish. Sipper qualities, still quite easy to drink. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation coming through on the back end. Fluffy malts, a light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine. A bitterish edge to the hop front, light but fairly bright citrus. Taste is in the same direction, smooth, sweet, mild roasted dark malt, sweer Bourbon, wood, hint of vanilla, peat, toffee and warming alcohol. Balanced bitterness.
