As always my timing is immaculate and I will be back in Shropshire over the weekend of this Tasting. I will visit one of your tastings one day Chris: it’s on my ’Bucket List’. |
Originally posted by madmitch76 Hoping you’ll be able to make it, Ken! So what is the deal with AGA on Sundays? They shut down the trains and offer a bus instead? |
Ken .... did you actually check the train service on the date In question before bemoaning the inadequate journey on offer ? |
Originally posted by Theydon_Bois To this end, Kenny, it would be very helpful if you could provide a definitive answer if you will come or not. No rush, necessarily. But if you can let me know ahead of time, I can make the effort to pull some beers that you’ve had before, so that you don’t miss out too much. |
Originally posted by Leighton Ah we’ll not be at T5 this time, think they’re in to T3 on a Chinese airline from Shanghai |
Originally posted by Theydon_Bois I’ll probably not be able to get there before 5ish, perhaps later will have to play it by ear on the day. can someone dm me address details? |
Originally posted by Beersiveknown just head to one of the Kensal stations and ask for the kvass house, the haus of pancakes or simply mention Chris and Ruths. You won’t go wrong ! |
Anglia Rail is awful. Me and Ken have spent many HOURS trying to get home. From Stratford it’s 25 minutes on a good day. From Chris’s to Stratford it’s another 30 minutes or so. I live three miles away from the train station so even leaving at 11 means I get home at after midnight. Plus it’s a very expensive train journey if I’m making regular trips. |
