Next Spoons Fest

Hi

I’ve noticed on the ’Spoons site that in this October’s real ale festival they’ve got eight guest brewers rather than the usual 4 or so. Anyone got any ideas who they are, and what/ where they’re brewing? For that matter, has anyone got a full ale list yet.

Incidentally I just tried to join Scoopgen to see if it was already on there, but it wouldn’t let me - just returned "This page is blank". Any ideas?

too early, usually only up 4 weeks in advance.

What are the dates of the festival? I don’t see any mention of it on the Spoons website.

I think they were on Scoopgen, but can’t find it now

I did see the dates somewhere but I can’t recall where. I think I’ll be in the States for most, if not all, of it.

Dates of the fest are Weds 24th October to Sunday 11th November. I think.

That gives me one day before flying out & return on the last day. Unless Heathrow Spoons has upped its game considerably looks like I’ll miss everything.

Latest from the Wetherspoons website: the guest brewers are from Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Netherlands & the US, plus some imported Belgian beers - 10 "international" beers in total.



I’ve heard the Australian brewer is Feral, brewing an "Australian style IPA" at Marstons.



The US brewer is Avery, The Italian is Birra del Borgo & the Japanese Ishi, although I don’t know where or what any of them are brewing. Haven’t found out the Canadian, Lithuanian or Dutch brewer yet.

I read in some JDW literature that the Dutch brewer will be ’t IJ. I don’t recall with whom they’re brewing or what they’re making.
