Breckenridge Brewery Lane Series: Barrel Aged Imperial Cherry Stout
750 ml bottle to plastic pint cup. Looks good; a translucent cola with beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of dark malt, chocolate, and oak with a soft but nice blended presence of cherry and port. Tastes like it smells with a mildly but pleasantly tart and vinous medium full-bodied mouthfeel that drinks easier than the abv suggests. Tasty.

On tap at Tap & Bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of port barrels, some whiskey and deep dark fruits. Flavour is complex, with loads of whiskey, port barrels, dark dried fruits and a hint roast. Wonderful complexity and well-balanced. Excellent use of the barrels. Wonderful.

Bottle picked up at Dutchís from notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, bready, a decent level of hop character, more earthy, light citrus, ok for what it is, but that is a slightly jazzed up wheat ale.

Breckenridge Dry Irish Stout
Black pour, one finger super creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate, dry roast, light nutty notes, light woody and herbal notes. Flavor is chocolate, roast, some light, but noticeable meaty salinity, toffee, a welcome hint of char and woody notes. Medium body, creamy entry, dry finish, very soft, but blanketing carbonation, sounds good, feels weirdish. Pretty good, admirable take on the style.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
Bottle. Smells like the bar at some South Pacific resort, Iím expecting a hula dance to break out. The mango is easily recognizable in the aroma, and this drinks with a distinct sense of smashed, mushy tropical fruit. My wife loves this stuff, but it doesnít come across crisply enough IMHO, which detracts, making the mango an unwelcome visitor. (#6460, 3/27/2017)

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a thin head and aromas of mango and wheat malt. Not sure if it has a lot of wheat in it, but it seems to have that wheat edge to it on the nose... kind of a dusty grain presence that is a little less sugary than pure barley. Flavor is very nice... kind of a pushy mango presence up front with a mango finish too... very juicy. In the middle there is a bit of a grassy hops edge that almost comes across as skunky... but not quite. That presence sometimes comes through in the late finish too. Itís a pleasant surprise and might be a good choice for a session or a nightcap after an evening of more aggressive fare.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
The appearance of this draft beer is a small off-white head that mostly diminished, hazy pale yellow body, no carbonation observed, and excellent lacing adorns the glass. The aroma is mango, sweet, fruity, and malt. The flavor is moderate-heavy bitter, mango, sweet, fruity, and a hint of citrus hops. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A quaffable APA that has a mild bitter finish to it.

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter
Really tasty, well balanced 5.4% porter. The nose features chocolate milk, vanilla, roasted malt and vanilla. Lots of the same in a nice creamy mix in the taste profile. Touches of coffee, caramel, almonds and other nuts, and tea round out a smooth taste experience. A really nice brew. Itís obviously hard to get good ratings with the ratebeer crowd unless you are a hop bomb or an Imperial Stout. Pity.
