Breckenridge Nitro Vanilla Porter
can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, very dark brown color, creamy ivory head that stays at 1", curtain of lace. Taste is creamy malt that adds chocolate, vanilla, and berry on the swallow, moving smoothly from there to a long only slightly bitter finish. Reminds me a lot of Lindlís Chocolate Raspberry bars. Quite good dessert Porter.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
12oz bottle. If we are going to have a fruit beer category this should certainly be in it, despite the Mosaic tones it is still quite Mango forward. Floaties galore inside the orange-tan body. Deep peachy mango tones. Enjoyable enough, but the floaties are kind of off-putting.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
Bottle, Total Wine, West Richmond. Clear pale golden, small white head. Aroma of rotting grass, mango. Flavor is mango, grass, cardboard, glue, weird funky unnatural bitterness that sticks itself to your tongue.

Breckenridge Chocolate Orange Stout
15.2 ounce can into imperial pint glass, best before 3/23/2017. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, nuttiness, smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, nuttiness, smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, orange peel/zest, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, fudge, toasted brown bread, light coffee/nuttiness, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, balance, and solid robustness of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast/hop bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly silky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a nice fruited sweet stout. All around good complexity, balance, and solid robustness of cocoa, orange peel, dark/roast/bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. This was not as flavorful as I expected for a 6% stout; but still had satisfying and very well balanced flavors; with a nice creamy mouthfeel. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
Bottle. A- Mango, Peach, juicy. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Bitter, juicy, mango, slightly grassy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- As usual, I save this bottle way past itís prime and donít drink it fresh. Had I, it wouldíve been pretty tasty I suspect. Still, it was no shameful beer. The sediment, which I THINK was bits of mango, is always unattractive to me. Otherwise this is loaded with mango. Fresh and in the summer time this would be a quencher.

Breckenridge Chocolate Orange Stout
can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nitro --- Aroma of malt and light chocolate. Opaque brown-black color, creamy deep tan head that stays at one-finger, curtain of lace. Taste is lightly roasted malt, light carbonation, a burst of chocolate, a burst of citrus orange, a lingering finish. Similar in texture to Murphyís Stout, with the addition of chocolate and orange. Taste after the swallow reminds me of good chocolate bars with orange.

Breckenridge Chocolate Orange Stout
Nitro can - the pour is thick creamy and pleasantly smooth with a thick caramel colored head and dark brown body with little light penetration. The aroma is lightly chocolate and a touch of orange. The taste initially orange them quickly followed by milk chocolate. Very much representative of the picture on the can. However this beer is sweet but not too sweet, and there is a little candied orange in the finish. Overall this is a sweeter stout but fairly representative of a milk chocolate slice.

Bottle. Tangerine orange color with a slight haze and a pillowy head. Thereís a nice, fresh and bright aroma. The beer drinks wtih a pleasantly flavorful yet very-easy-to-drink character, definitely fitting the Colorado "wet hop" profile. (#6493, 1/11/2017)

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter
Very mild, has an abrupt aftertaste with notes of sour hops. Very drinkable, and not too fizzy. The bottle is a little boring. Tastes like it would be good with a burrito or a taco of some sort. I probably would not drink too many of these back to back, as it does not have a particularly memorable flavor profile.

Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Janeís Beer and Wine. Appearance is dark brown/mahogany with no head, no sparkle and no lacing. Aroma is moderately strong roasted malts, light dark fruit, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is mix of sweet dark fruit/chocolate and milder vanilla with bitter roast. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture, lively (almost fizzy) carbonation and dry, mostly bitter roasty finish. Overall, all the attributes of a stout are here but everything is executed at a pretty average level. Too carbonated.

Breckenridge Nitro Vanilla Porter
Can pour into tulip glass from Greg & Janeís Beer and Wine. Appearance is black--but dark red with light source directly behind--with the typical beautiful nitro effervescence and pillowy beige head with excellent retention and nice sudsy lacing. Aroma is roasted malts with vanilla and light chocolate. Taste is dominant vanilla and chocolate with some dark fruitiness and late mild bakerís chocolate/coffee bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with creamy smooth texture, soft carbonation and long, nicely sweet vanilla and chocolate finish. Overall, what a difference the nitro makes. This is way better than the non-nitro version.

Breckenridge Mango Mosaic Pale Ale
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours pale yellow with excellent clarity under a white fizzy head. The aroma explodes with esters of mango and tropical fruits as promised. There are also some buried toasted malt characters. But the fruitiness is all powerful here. The body is around medium and carbonated. Big fruity characters in the taste with a definite white bread underbelly. Mild bitterness to finish.
