tontalus	3.9 Brakspear Oxford Gold (Bottle) Mein Brakspear Oxford Gold hatte ein Etikett, dass scheinbar eine von Kindern gezeichnete Hecke darstellen soll. Auffällig hässlich. Ansonsten wie üblich mittelporige, üppfige Krone, die recht standfest ist. Außerdem goldgelbe und opale Farbe. Kaum auffälliger Geruch, vielleicht ein wenig erdig. Beim Antrunk schön würzig und dabei leicht süß. Daneben kommt eine torfige Note durch. Beim Abgang gut gehopft, jedoch wieder erdige Noten. Insgesamt von den 4 hintereinander getesteten Golden Ales das beste. Der Bierstil gibt aber nicht so viel her oder ich habe nur die falschen Flaschen erwischt. 10-2020 Thursday, December 22, 2022

Aroma is herbally, blossomy, malty with hints of spice. Taste is very bitter and very citrusy. Getting a herbally, biscuity, spicy, malty, hoppy, limey and overall quite a sharp tasting beer.
