Brakspear Hoppy Holidays
Bottle, November 2016. Hoppy as a box of dead frogs. Not to say it isn't pleasant. Vague aniseed, wicker, red berry and cracker nose. Tastes like Hovis biscuit and toffee popcorn with the merest smear of orange-accented hop. I might have imagined it. Sherbet like Sheps and chocolate orange hints. Bright bronze with a thinning tuft of foam. OK.

Brakspear Bitter (Bottle)
Bottle as part of a festive mixed box. Quite a pleasant bitter, pours nicely with a thin head that retains. Caramel and biscuit taste, a good session beer I could happily sit and drink.

Brakspear Oxford Gold (Bottle)
Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma is grassy, herbal and citrussy. Clear amber color with thin creamy off-white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet toasted malt and fruitiness, following is grassy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. A blonde that I certainly like :)

Not one of Brakspears best beers by a long chalk. Must be aimed at the southern softies market. It’s poor but that’s about average for this Brewery, I think they to resurrect the Pope in the family to make this one better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lager colour with virtually no head. Has an intriguing hoppy aroma with some notes similar to a white wine. Taste is of sugar, malt, honey, citrus (mandarin, tropical lime) and straw bitterness. Has a slightly thin palate.

Average beer. Good color and taste is not bad. Bitternes is very good and it ok, but smell of the beer is not good...When I smell it it smells like rotten water ! Because of the bad smell I will never try it ! Change the water or something.....Vrlo prosječna piva. Boja nije loša,zahmeljeno i gorko, ali sa mirisom koji podsjeća pomalo na anus ?? Jako loš miris piva. Sve u svemu probati radi fore, ali izbjegavati poslije :)
