liquorous cider

Cider that has a residual sugar content of not less than 80 g per litre and an actual alcoholic strength of not less than 5% by volume and not more than 15% by volume as per Quebec laws and regulations surrounding cider production. Often confused with ice ciders, these are sweet ciders that do not respect ice cider production methods.
