COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rainier beer brings together nature’s bounty from the great Northwest. Pure spring waters combine with golden barley and verdant hops to produce a beer rich in taste and texture. Fermented slowly with a pedigree yeast culture under tightly controlled conditions, Rainier comes forth with a satisfying malty flavor over a slightly fruity background, spiced with Chinook, Mt. Hood, and Willamette hop notes.

Beer5000 (10641) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 21, 2024
UPDATED: APR 21, 2024 Backlog October 2013. Pale golden body under a fast disappearing, big, foamy head. Slightly unpleasant aroma. Taste is sweet and harsh with vegetables. Thin body. Not very nice.

nimbleprop (15419) - Southeast, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 29, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2023 12oz can pours a crystal clear gold, thick cap of white head. Nose has malt and light grasses, something a bit metallic but otherwise what you expect and what you want. Flavor is appropriately beer-y. Some grist, light dough, grass. Finishes a bit watery with some bite. This is far from bad.

mcberko (41820) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 8, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2023 12 oz. can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of skunk cabbage, not much else. Flavour is lame, with skunk cabbage and straw. Very lame, cabbage-y piss lager.

didgerito (217) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2023
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2023 Canadian version. Brewed by Stroh Canada 5%. Tastes fairly dry and a bit sour. Kind of like a poor pilsner. The water tastes good in it, but It has this sour note that I don't remember being there before. I used to drink this years ago when you could only get it in private liquor stores, but now trying the 15 pack from bc liquor, it isn't as good as I remember. I recall it being easier drinking with a great water profile before, i don't remember the sour astringency this has now. Tastes much smoother in a glass. Doesn't taste bad room temp from can so it's pretty clean.

OzarkElmo (372) - Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2020 Not a bad beer at all. If it is considered swill, it's pretty good at that. Prost!

Beese (17142) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 Keg at Tugboat Brewery, Portland, OR on 04/10/2010. Pretty perplexed as to why Tugboat even had this on, but I think I tried it without realising that it was a cheap macro... well, that is until I tried it (although I might actually have guessed by sight alone). Pale yellow. Very little aroma. A hint of corn in the flavour. Slight metallic finish. Not the worst macro lager I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t want it again.

Chadhami (628) - - SEP 6, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2020 This beer is in a special class...a cheap keg beer in one area of the country that is kind of a unique find in other areas. Very basic beers but a little more character than a bud or coors

PhillyBeer2112 (3498) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - NOV 4, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 Like Olympia, had from can at 5 Point Cafe in Seattle. Much better than Olympia. Very clean, refreshing, good mouthfeel. Balanced, not terribly watery even though light. I wish I could come back and have more.

Boutip (9376) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 4, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2019 Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a medium size white foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of adjunct notes with light residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by adjunct notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Another adjunct based lager but still refreshing after a long day of hiking.
