UPDATED: DEC 20, 2023 On tap at Kona Brewing - Hawaii Kai, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige bead. Aroma brings out slightly sweet dark fruits, some brown sugar, and bready malt. Flavour is malty and gently sweet, with dark fruits, bready malt, and dry toasted caramel. Pleasantly constructed, nice malts, but a bit too sweet. Decent.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2022 Bottled. Ambert brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is nutty, some chocolate, coconut and mild toffee. Flavour is coconut, chocolate, some mild roasted notes and mild toffee. Tasty. A bit like eating a bounty chocolate/coconut bar.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2022 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown with a thin white head. Aroma of coconut, dark malt, vanilla. Flavor of mostly coconut, mild vanilla, roasted malt, sweet malt, toasted coconut in the finish. Nice, light. 6/4/7/4/14 (3.5/5)

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2021 Daark, brownish color and a white head. Nice nose of cocoa, chocolate and toffee, also some vanilla. Taste of herbal-sweet, ccoca amd once again some vanilla.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2021 I usually don't like a flavored beer, but the coconut flavor is so slight that it complements the ale very well. It's Kokorific

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2020 This is a backlog rating from 2013 on draft, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. Words to describe this beer are toasted malts, coconut, sweet malts, light earthy.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2019 Bottled 355ml. -from Schneider’s Getränkemarkt Cologne. Darker brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, light coconut in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, coconut and dryish finish. One-dimensional but drinkable.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2019 Slightly sweet thanks to the coconut and notes of roasted grains. Bit of bite typical to Browns, still relatively smooth all the same. Has a beery after taste though which lingers.
