UPDATED: JUL 29, 2023 Im Glas präsentiert sich ein bernstein- bis kupferfarbenes Zwickl - selbstverständlich mit einer absolut typischen Opaltrübung. Obenauf zeigt sich die weiße, feinporige, fast cremige und überaus langlebige Schaumkrone. In der Nase nimmt man eine relativ breite Aromatik wahr. Sehr getreidig und brotig bis karamellig malzig, sowie leicht nussig-holzig. Auch nimmt man zarte Fruchtester wahr, die an Apfel bzw. Apfelschale erinnern. Der Antrunk kommt weich und süßlich-fruchtig-herb. Sofort nimmt man einen schönen Malzkörper mit brotigen bis karamelligen Noten wahr, welcher aber nicht zu süß ist. Aufgrund der Resthefe bzw. Naturtrübe zeigen sich auch leichte Noten von gelben Früchten. Jedoch scheint auch der zart estrige Charakter eine Folge davon zu sein. Dadurch vermisse ich bei diesem Bier zwar eine gewisse Frische, welche ein gutes, weiches Mundgefühl und eine angenehme Süffigkeit aber nicht allzusehr hemmt. Im gut anhaltenden Nachtrunk wirken malzige, leicht hefige Noten gemeinsam mit einer zarten Säure nach. Wenig Herbe und kaum Adstringenz. Mein Fazit: relativ leichtgängig, unkompliziert und vielleicht etwas zu uninteressant. Für mein Empfinden fehlt es diesem Bier auch ein wenig an Frische.

Grain, hay, pleasant lager yeast, light caramel, fruity hints, grassy & spicy hop. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, average carbonation. Summary; Decent.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2021 50cl swing top bottle. Bright oragey, hazed, stable white head. Taste of sugary malts, kind of caramelized, bread, cookies. Thin hops profile some hay and grass, mostly on the malts side. Prominent yeast for a doughy feel. Smooth sticky finish.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2021 0,5 l bottle swing top bottle. Cloudy dark golden with a huge more than two finger white foamy head in the glass. Pale grain malt and caramel on the nose. Sweet fruity. Taste starts with caramel, also pale grain, smooth, some apple fruity parts. Low carbonated. Low bitterness. Nice and easy drinking stuff.
