UPDATED: MAY 4, 2022 Double ipa de 9,2 % abv, avec malt grillé. Houblonnage en cascade, chinook et centennial, avec dry hopping. Mon exemplaire était à 10 mois après sa date. Couleur ambré foncé aux reflets roux cuivré, avec un léger voile. Bulles moyennes, partout, très nombreuses et vives. Mousse beige, soyeuse, stable à 2 mm. Arômes de résine de pin, abricot confit, prune d'Ente. 1ère bouche très douce, à la belle entame fruit/malt grillé/résine. Arrière-bouche qui trouve une amertume de haut vol, incisive. 2ème bouche qui ouvre un très beau développement des nuances. Arrière-bouche à l'amertume dense, et pourtant équilibrée. Longueur qui n'a plus qu'à peaufiner le chemin tracé par les éclaireurs. Jambes finement huileuses, très longues. Levure fine, précise, belle ligne. Alcool très bien, il fait son œuvre sur la longueur. Finale qui est un très beau moment de dégustation. CONCLUSION : grand nez, belle texture et saveurs denses, équilibrées. On aurait juste voulu un peu plus de complexité, mais on veut toujours plus .. et plus, et plus, et plus … comme l'éléphant à la parade ! (music pairing : Blazing rust, album Line of danger, qui vient lui de Russie, un mammouth quoi ..)

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2019 Bottle @ DØE Køge. Appearance: pours hazy dark amber with ok off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, bread, pine, citrus, light caramel, light alcohol and herbal notes. palette: strong us hoppy aroma, average carbonation, medium to full body, medium to notable sweetness, somewhat dominated by a notable bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: nice classic DIPA

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2019 Golden with a fair amount of frothy white head that quickly simmers down. Strong IPA smell. Extremely bitter, very hoppy. Very slight caramel, resin, and coffee hiding under the hops. Finish is bitter but relatively short. A little too strong for my personal taste but definitely worth a try if you like a good stout.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2018 Super god DIPA. God smag som er fint afstemt med bitterhed og humle. Noter af citrusfrugt og duft af citron og fugter. Absolut anbefales værdig.

Dark golden with a off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, pine and malt. Sweet and light bitter with notes of malt, lemon and fruit.

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty and citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of marzipan and cardboard, orange, blood orange. Taste is citrusy hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty, notes of orange, blood orange, hints of marzipan and cardboard.

Tap @ City Hosboda, Turku, 31/03/18. Pours a dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, conifer, resin. Taste is strong caramel, resin, strong conifer. Full.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 12.03.18. Translucent dark golden. Diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt, ripe tropical fruits and sweet tropical fruits. Similar taste, with sweetness of papaya and mango. Good! Soft mouthfeel.
