oh6gdx	3.7 Xbeeriment Agent Cooper's Delight Draught@CBC2013. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mild alcohol, chocolate and some mild vanilla with quite much wooden tones too. Flavour is oaky, but also some freshly cut wooden tones with alcohol and some slight syrupy and liquorice tones qith some chocolate in the finish too. Wednesday, September 6, 2023

There are some spicy notes with a bit or orange and mint. It has malty flavors of caramel and toffee. There is a medium amount of spices with low orange. There is a hint of mint in the background. It has a medium full body with some moderate bitterness in the finish. Overall, the mint adds a unique aspect to the barleywine which works well with the other hops and malts. MiP	3.6 Xbeeriment Hoppenheimer Imperial IPA Bottle, 9.7%. 6 years past BB date. Good caramelly aroma. Hazy light pink amber sort of colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter, and turns nicely caramelly. Has a smokey touch, but that might be due to age. Late caramel finish and clean bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Very potent stout with a hint of dark fruit in the aroma and lots of dark chocolate in the finish. The peat smoke is actually fairly muted. Pleasant. Sunday, March 10, 2019
nearbeer	3.4 Xbeeriment Copper Snow 500 ml. bottle with no date stamp. After the pour it appears this one's been sitting a while since there's a definite sediment deposit on the bottle everywhere below the fill line. Pours clear, deep copper with some ruby highlights. Thin but enduring film of creamy bubbles. Nose is molasses, chocolate, raisin, dark cherry and stewed tomatoes Flavors of molasses, potato chip, chocolate, whole grain bread, dark cherry and a touch of charred bandage in the finish. Medium-heavy body has a smooth, medium carbonation. Decent balance and the aging has helped with the abv I suppose, but just not anything super exciting taste-wise here. Monday, February 11, 2019

AleRider78	3.9 Xbeeriment Black Force One Pours a thick frothy brownish head and has a very dark appearance. Aromas of dark roasted malts, breads, oats and some light chocolate and vanilla hints. The smoke like flavours is noticeable almost immediately. A rich creamy/malty taste accentuated with strong toffee and caramel notes. Also some flavours of nuts, toast and bready malts. Hops are harder to discern, mainly some spices and earthy hops. Astringent and prickly sensation with a nice warming mouthfeel. At 8.4% (on label stuck to back of bottle) alcohol is very well hidden. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, peat smoke, vanilla, toffee, whiskey, toasted oak, and dark bread; with light notes of tobacco, leather, charcoal, raisin, licorice, molasses, nuttiness, and roast/toast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts and Scotch barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, peat smoke, vanilla, toffee, whiskey, toasted oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of tobacco, leather, charcoal, raisin, licorice, molasses, nuttiness, and roast/toast/oak earthiness. Light roast/char bitterness and whiskey/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, peat smoke, vanilla, toffee, whiskey, toasted oak, dark bread, light licorice/molasses, and roast/toast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts and Scotch barrel flavors; with an awesome roasted bitter/sweet and whiskey/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast bitterness and oak spice, lightly increasing through the glass. Mild carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly grainy/chalky/tannic mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol with zero barrel booziness for 7.7%. Overall this is a fantastic barrel aged smoked stout! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts and Scotch barrel flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. This has held up awesome with the age for the modest ABV. Perfectly balanced between smoked stout and Scotch barrel flavors; with an amazing rich/velvety mouthfeel. A highly enjoyable offering. JPDIPSO	3 Xbeeriment Copper Snow Amber color with a thin lid of beige small beige bubbles. Some fish food floating about. Sweet aromas, with caramel, light fruit, and hint of citric hops. Sweet start, with some candi flavours. Some medicinal and burnt flavors work their way in the mix. Seems “hot” and I don’t see this one progressing.
