I wasn’t completely against eBay for older bottles, but I think this will be good in the long run. I’m looking forward to see, what happens in the upcoming releases. |
How will I make moneyz now? |

I don’t care what ebay does, but there is still a lot of beer listed on their site. |
Good. Maybe beer will move to the wine auction sites to start attracting some big money. |
He created an alias to post that? Nice. |
I can understand both sides, but in the end who are we to tell or dictate to someone else what they can or cannot do with beer. If someone buys it at the brewery or beer store its there beer to do with as they see fit. If they want to sell it an an astronomical price I don’t have to buy it but if someone wants it that bad then why should I care? I have tried in the trade forums before but I can’t keep beer long enough to trade it, I buy it to drink it and I know there are alot of people on here that are the same way. I don’t have the contacts like the hardcore traders have so its just easier for me to buy it from an on-line beer store or ebay.Granted I have seen some prices on ebay that made me laugh but I have also gotten some pretty good deals too.I know some of the brewers don’t like the reselling on ebay like that but when they come out and say we are only releasing 200 bottles on whatever date and you can only get it at the brewery between the hours of this and you have to be O+ blood type born between the years of 1974-75 and your mother maiden name must start with the letter"Q" to buy it and you have a growing community of beer lovers, what do you expect? Just my opinion, cheers! |
