I was bottling beer so I missed most of the first game but will be cracking a few PU’s during the next. |
Only jesting - I love a good Jever or Budvar. Shame sport is sponsored so heavily overall by the mass market brews - the Olympic spirit isn’t exactly represented by Heineken. Kernel would be a better bet! |
I started the Czech way with Ferdinand d’Este and Kozel 12% and was punished by a draw, though we should have scored at least twice in the first half. Well, now to make this a cross-over I will be drinking something Polish during the Czech game, maybe Pinta Ognie Szczescia. |
Coffee so far. Going to the pub now, so it may be (bottled) London Pride for Cech vs. Pavlyochenko |
Maybe one should celebrate Greece’s unexpected resurrection with a ... Mythos Lager? |
I’ll be in Greece from Monday so mythos. |
homebrews here! |

As for the game, Poland dominated the first half , though I don’t think that any of the 2 cards that sokratis got and was sent off was justified. We were better during the last 30 min and could have won if we hadn’t missed the penalty. All in all 1-1 was probably a fair result. |
Kropigi in Halkidiki, know anywhere, don’t matter if not, lager and the beach will do me fine. |
Originally posted by Nightfall I can agree with all of that. Maybe the second one was closer to being just but the first one was clearly not justifiable at all. But then again, the penalty and red card for Szczesny - almost as if it was an attempt of the referee to redeem himself for Sokratis. Drinking Pinta Dymy Marcowe now and the second match does also not turn out the way it was supposed to. Oh well... |
