3.3 Sequoia Oktoberfest Rich amber color with a soapy off-white head. Nutty, toffee, caramel, and some maple in the aroma and flavor. My real problem with it is the sizer I got had some bottling issues. Upon opening the caps there was a violent hiss which erupted with foam causing the pour to be disrupted. Working in sales for beer I have heard they had exploding bottle problems. Over-carbonation can ruin any recipe especially the potential that Tioga has to dominate their regional market. 2.6 Sequoia Oatmeal Stout some nice scores here, but I was not a fan. Liked the porter better. This was a small beer that couldn’t stand up to the nitro pour. Watery with a sweet flavor and aroma that lacked any depth. Wednesday, December 23, 2015

2.7 Sequoia Irish Stout what’s with the generic pics? The color ain’t even close. Anyway, standard pub dry irish on nitro. Light in body and flavor. Nothing bad, just fairly uninspiring. Wednesday, December 23, 2015

3.8 Sequoia Jacob Marley Classic Winter warmer type barleywine - loads of malt and dark fruit, and not much in the way of hops. The liter bottles were laughable at $30 each, but this ruby hued barleywine was nice, and covered the 11.6% (in 2015) very well. Wednesday, December 23, 2015
