alexsdad06	3.7 Walldorff Old Woody Imperial Stout This is a backlog rating from a bottle received as a trade extra, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. rumproasts	3.3 Walldorff Sundancer Crystal Wheat bottle from brewery. Pale golden with small head. Lightly sweet. Mild wheat. Light banana and maybe a hint of clove. Rather dull, but inoffensive. Wednesday, September 21, 2016
rumproasts	3.7 Walldorff Cobain's Double Dark IPA bottle from brewery. Deep brown, near black with small head. Roasty malt body with cocoa and coffee. Big punchy hops with substantial bitterness. Slight booze. Very good stuff. Wednesday, September 21, 2016

alexsdad06	3 Walldorff Strawberry Rhubarb Cream Ale Draft sample at MBGSF ’10 during RBSG from backlog notes. Pours a hazy pink grapefruit juice color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, strawberry, vanilla, a mild tang, funk, thin body, watery, grainy malt, just not a great option with so many others around. Monday, May 30, 2016

JulienHuxley	3.2 Walldorff Cobain's Double Dark IPA Bottle. Dark brown black pour with very thin off white head. Aroma of light chocolaty notes, roasty malts, subdued hops, light caramel aromas. esjaygee	3.6 Walldorff Bourbon Barrel Hopnoxious IPA On tap at Walldorff brewpub. Copper-amber with a thin off-tan topper. Bourbon vs IPA and bourbon wins on the nose… bourbon, vanilla, light oak, caramel, toffee and some citrus underneath. The barrel wins on the palette as well with oak, strong vanilla, bourbon, caramel and citrus as almost an afterthought. Dry with very low bitterness. Friday, November 1, 2013

Aroma of dark roasted malts, roasted barley and light chocolate. Taste is chalky with chocolate, dark roasted malts and some bitterness on the finish. Friday, November 1, 2013

Aroma brings sweet malts, not too sweet though with that signature honey like barleywine malt flavor. Flavor tastes aged, sweet but not too sweet, boozy but not overkill. Sunday, August 4, 2013

5000	3.6 Walldorff Old Woody Imperial Stout Bottle: Pours black, very little head, sparce lacing. Soft roasted malts and graham cracker nose, a bit of ash and soft oak. Sweet smokey ash up front, roasty, a little lactose, some oak. Not a hop bomb at all as its not terribly hoppy, which is good. Backside shows a bit of soy and dark or bakers chocolate. This one is nice in that its not overly roasty or acrid. Not as heavy as I would have liked, but its nice. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Soy, over ripened dark pitted fruit, oak, ash, roasted malts all make up teh finish. Better than I expected! Thanks Kevin! Sunday, April 28, 2013
