UPDATED: FEB 3, 2024 473ml can - ty Marduk (6:4:5:3-:10=2.8) Sweet oxidised aroma, like a good strong old thing that they just watered down, some copper coins, alas some acetaldehyde hints. Again in the taste, strong old malty beer that's been watered down. Lots of woody dry bitterness, some corniness, sweetcorn. The headiness for me is gluey for anna. It's ok-ish. DdC ain't what they used to be, that's for sure.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2023 473ml can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours red/brown, with fine whitish foam. Aroma is intensely malty and caramel, a little nutty, figs. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is a good mix between the malty sweetness and some toasty bitterness. Final is is fairly long with some bitterness.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2023 Pours clear dark chestnut with a two finger, light tan head. Aroma is caramel and roast. Taste is caramel and light cashew, moving to roast and light chewy hops. Finish matches the taste.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2023 Burk 473 ml från Beer Republic. Aningen disig mahognyfärgad med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter av karamell, frukt, vitt bröd. Smakinslag av karamell, aprikos, grapefrukt, vitt bröd, jord. Välbalanserad.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2023 Pours a hazy brown from a can. Toffee aroma and flavor, but finishes dry. Pretty good beer.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2022 Can (Apr 26, 2022 canning). Head is initially small to average sized, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel, toasted grain/seeds), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Simple, restrained, malty quaffer. Not memorable, but clean and pleasant with nice finishing bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2022 Can 473ml, a clear amber beer with medium head. Nose on caramel and barley sugar, chocolate. Aroma on dry toasted caramel, hay hop, alt beer like, well done.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is brown malts with caramel, toffee, some fruity notes, toasty grain, bittering hops, and a touch of tobacco. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Moreish malty brew.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2021 473 ml can. Pours hazy brown color with a large off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel notes, subtle hops, some rye. Flavor is bitter malty, some dried fruits, subtle caramel notes. Okay.
