J_man (1286) - Tustin, California, USA - FEB 11, 2022UPDATED: FEB 11, 2022 Beautiful dark brown body with a tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate aromas that follow into the taste. There's a definite smokiness to this but it's not too heavy. Lots of dark chocolate and cocoa in the flavor. Good bitter bite to balance the chocolaty sweetness which seems like it might be from both hops and dark roasted malt. The alcohol is evident but not heavy and is also well balanced with all the other components. Finishes bitter and chocolaty with a lasting dusty cocoa on the tongue. Another great one from Stone.
